My belly button is slowly bleeding 10 days post op. It started a couple days ago after I cleaned it out with a Q tip and I think a scab came off. I started motrin that day as well and took it the next day. Could the motrin be aggravating it more? Should I just stick to Norco until it scabs up again?
Should you start cleaning your TT incision right after surgery? Which soaps/ ointments are best to use? Also, which products are best to make your scar lighter and when is it okay to start using them?
A week ago the incision area had a narrow scab (pic 1). Over the weekend, the scab started oozing and my belly swelled significantly (pic 2). My doctor saw me Monday, cleaned out the wound, assured me its normal and looks great. 3 days have passed & I am still concerned with the swelling, oozing and now the darkening of the skin around the incision (pic 3) and how this will look healed. Im cleaning it and using bacitracin twice daily. How normal is this, really?
This is a 2 in one question. I didnt know how to ask it at once. My belly button has been bleeding everyday since my tummy tuck. 1 week post op I brought this concern to my doctor and he said it's fine. I didn't think much of it but today after removing my binder, there was blood ofcourse and also the belly button seems to be separating from the skin. And the spacing is obvious. And after cleaning it there seems to be a little discoloration. Is all of this normal 9 days post op?
I am 7 weeks post Op from tt/mr. Yesterday while doing light kitchen cleaning like dishes and sweeping, I all of a sudden felt a pain under my right rib cage in my muscle repair area that feels like a pin or needle is sticking in me. Could it be a popped stitch or just a pulled muscle. I feel it when I do certain movements like bending over or twisting or sometimes if I touch it. Should I be concerned.
Drains were removed 11/22. I know im suppose to keep the drainage sites clean, What are the suggestions in keeping the sites clean and free from infections? One of my sites are still leaking fluids. Just want to take the proper precautions in cleaning the area. Thank You
My doctor told me to use only soap and water to clean. It looks good but the scap keeps falling before is completely dry and it look like is not healing. I have not pain it just itch a little sometimes. Is there anyway to make the wound heal faster or more effective ? Or im just to anxious jajaja. Thanks in advance.
