My PS used surgical glue to close my incision and has instructed me to let it come off naturally. Today marks three weeks post op for me and it hasn't budged. Obviously I plan on following the doctors orders but it would be nice to finally get to see my incision!
I am 3 weeks post op from a TT. My binder just pulled the glue off my belly button. It was bleeding a little around the edges. There is still a little glue on it (brown part) and some of the skin is very white. I washed it with antibacterial soap and covered it with gauze. The shower made the picture appear a little redder than it actually is. Should I put any ointment on it? Does any of this seem concerning? TY for your feedback!
My surgery was 12/15/15 and my PS used surgical glue to seal my incision today I am 6 days post op and the glue is starting to flake away. I'm concerned bc I wouldn't want my wound to bust open. Is this normal this early in? I seen on others post they said 2-3 weeks it would start peeling off. So my question is should I call my PS to have more glue added to my incision to protect it? I'm not pickin at it, this is happening by itself.
I underwent surgery a week and the days ago. Since then, glue holding wounds closed has begun peeling and falling off. Today when the glue feel off this particular incision site, the attached picture is what I observed. Should I be concerned by the depth and opening size?
I am a 42 years old female. I had a tummy tuck 8days ago and I have a severe allergic reaction from the surgical glue. My surgeon put me on steroid and benadryl 50mg every 6 hours. The itching is unbearabble and it seems like ithe rash is spreading out more. He told me to put Vaseline on to get all the glue out. I have been putting Silverdene on because now it looks a lot like glue burn. I do not want to admit to the hospital.
