I'm 29 days post op!I have had a tummy tuck and lipo I was told I needed to wear the compression garment which is also known as a faja for 3 months. However doctors told me I needed to take it off 2 hours every day, my problem now is that when I do take it off I cannot go the full 2 hours without me putting it back on because I am in so much pain my back has this burning sensation and my stomach muscles are swelling and feels like theyre tightening up... is this normal and how long is this expected to last.
I had a successful Tummy Tuck, Muscle Plication and Liposuction (21days post op). I'm very satisfied with the procedure but my Faja digs into my skin. I make sure it's not too lose or too tight. I use the lipo foams but I'm still in a lot of pain from the Faja. I'm not even in pain from the surgery. While wearing the Faja when I stand from sitting or laying it's like the Faja creates a suction on my skin where the muscles were repaired. Now, this hurts more than the surgery. Suggestions :-(
I went to the DR to have tummy tuck and bbl. To drain fluids theyd put a needle in one of my back insions and drain my fluid like that. Ever since those massages Ive been in some crazy pain! Especially when I take my faja off I feel like my back is breaking and my belly is ripping!!!
Im 2 months post op of a tummy tuck with lipo. I stopped wearing my faja at about 6 weeks because Id just had enough of it and I feel comfy without it now. Is this going to effect my overall result or are they purely just to reduce swelling? Thanks.
I will be one year post op on May 6, 2022- I am still experiencing extreme tightness in my abdomen when I take off my faja- I am literally stuck in my faja 24 hours a day (its either that or endure pain all day and night) and I don't know what to do about it- when i put the faja on its instant relief and i can move around normally.
I have been following several women post op tummy tuck and lipo360 on social media to get a feel for recovery. Some women say that their doctors forbade them from wearing faja past week 6 so that the body could repair its own lymphatic channels and learn to drain itself. Others wear their compression garnments 2 weeks and some longer than 12 weeks. Im curious on the general consensus- is it true that you shook f stop wearing faja at 6 weeks???
Next week I am having an extended Tummy tuck with Lipo 360 and Body Tite, lipo and body tite in my arms and inner thighs, as well as a breast lift, and BBL. I do not feel like I was well educated on my post-op care, so I will ask here. 1. Do I need to wear compression socks? If so, shall they come below the knee, or up to the thigh (considering I'll be having lipo in my inner thighs.) 2. Do I need to wear an ab board and lipo foam under my faja? Thank you for your answers!
Hello I had a Tummy tuck, my swelling goes up and down I love my results but does it look like I need more lipo or Should I just continue to using faja & boards to compress? Im exactly 6 months post Op extended tummy tuck with lipo to flanks
I had lipo 360, arm lipo and a bbl in November 2020. Despite post-op lymphatic draining massages and wearing my faja and boards, I still have quite a bit of fibrosis. I recently went back to my surgeon and he suggested a tummy tuck to help with my elasticity. Id like to have a more snatched waist and breast augmentation but want to make sure that Im getting the right procedure(s) based on my fibrosis and with another surgeon. Thank you in advance and looking forward to your expert opinion
Hello I have a question I'm soon getting done a tummy tuck and bbl. What's the aftercare like I know for a tummy tuck I need a binder and for a bbl a faja stage 1 . so if I'm getting both done which one do I choose to wear? Also would I need to get lymphatic massages after my procedure but wouldn't that be dangerous to my tummy tuck incision?
