Worried about the outcome 5 days post op. of my belly button? does it look Normal? Do you think it will look better once the swelling goes down or would I need a revision? Very concerned about the outcome, anything I can do to make it improved?
I also was super gassy yesterday, and somewhat bloated it seemed like but I was on the plane coming from the DR to home. Is this normal? Im very worried. I did have a drain and took it out after 6 days in the Dominican Republic and now Im back in the United States and will be starting my Lymph massages today. Will this help? Please tell me yes. My drain hole is closed so fluid cant come out of it Im hoping the massages will help tighten my skin it looks like I have a sack around the incision.
I had abdominoplasty on Wednesday, February 13th 2019. When I drink water, my upper abdomen, in the area where the muscles were sutured feels cold. Could I have ruptured my sutures? I coughed twice before this. I spoke with my nurse from my surgeon's office and she said if I would have ruptured the sutures I would be in pain, plus he puts in layers of sutures.
I am 6 days PO from TT and have been following my PS advice. The steri-strips just came off incision today and I have been wearing my binder 23hrs/day. I am concerned of this puckering and wrinkling at the end of my incision. It seems quite extreme. I also had lipo to flanks. Will this flatten? Is this something I should concern my PS with this early on? My follow up is on 11/30/18 and my PS is 3 hrs away. The rest of my incision looks great and is very flat.
I has a drainless TT and BL with Aug. along with lipo of the flanks 6 days ago. My surgeon gave me 2 binders to wear around the clock, which I've been doing. They keep shifting and folding. At post op apt I asked for a compression garment. He said he uses binders. He recommended Spanx. It seems most doctors on RS recommend a CG. I'm willing to buy one myself to return to work. How do I size myself? What kind should I buy? I'm so swollen that I'm measuring wider than pre surgery! Please advise.
I have recently had an abdominoplasty 5 days ago with muscle repair. My tubes where full of dark red blood from the place of incision then ran yellow with red blood running through it. I have been experiencing a burning sensation in the last 24-48 hours before removal. The pain, while they were removed, was as if I had a laser been running from my hip down to place of incision. Is this burning sensation (before removal and during removal) normal as my Dr told me that this sensation is normal.
Hi, I had a Fleur De lis tummy tuck 5 days ago. I'm very very pleased with the results so far despite being hugely swollen and looking a bit pregnant (I know this is normal!) My surgeon took into account my sagging Mons pubis for surgery and in recovery showed me that it has been pulled up etc. When I lie down I can definitely feel it's been lifted up. However stood up, it looks even worse than before! It's so huge and puffy!! Is this normal at this stage? Might I need revision? Thanks
