The nurse told me not to be surprised if I don't have an appetite, but I have the opposite problem. I feel much hungrier. I usually eat 1300 calories a day, but today I consumed closer to 1700! I've been eating things like eggs, protein drinks, brown rice cakes with almond butter and strawberries, bananas and apple sauce, chicken and sweet potatos. Should I slow it down or is this normal?
I am a 11 days post tummy tuck & walking around well. In the beginning, I was not that hungry & small that what I could actually eat was much smaller in portion. I know that it was from the ab tightening. However, in the past couple of days, I've become ravenous! I'm so hungry all the time. Prior to surgery, I ate upwards of 1800-2000 calories a day because of my training program (competitive athlete). I cannot eat that much right now when I'm not exercise. Will this pass? Soon?
Hi! I had a tummy tuck with lipo of my inner thighs, flanks and back 12 days ago. I had lap band surgery 4 years ago and lost over 100 pounds. For the past 3 or 4 days I have been excruciatingly hungry. I'm trying to fill up on protein shakes, veggies and drink lots of water but I still end up feeling like i'm going to pass out/need food now almost immediately after eating. Is this normal after having this procedure?I just am worried because i don't want to gain weight while in recovery. Thanks!
