I had a tummy tuck 6 months ago and I have a hard spot to the left of my belly button. You can't see it when standing, only feel it. But it is visible when lying down. I tried the test of lying down and raising my leg straight and it does become more visible so I'm guessing it is a muscle repair failure? Can I leave it like this or will it get worse? Does it need to be treated? My surgery was abroad so not as simple as seeing my Dr for his opinion.
I had an extended tummy tuck in May 2022, so Im right around the six month mark and Ive been having pain on the right side where the hourglass curve starts all the way to the belly button and it feels like nerve pain. I also feel like there may be a little bit more fat left over in that area. If I wear full compression or a belly wrap and everything is kept completely flat, the pain goes away. If I wear a compression tank top, like my doctor has instructed, the pain comes back. Is this normal?
Hi all, I have recently found out I am pregnant 6 months after full tummy tuck. This was obviously not planned as I had thought I was finished with having children. I have a few worries / questions. Will it be likely my tummy tuck results will be ruined following my pregnancy? My previous baby was a c section, its likely I will need another c section. Will the surgeon enter through my tummy tuck scar ? Is it safe for me to carry another pregnancy so soon aftr having TT. ` Thnx
I've already asked if this could be a muscle repair failure, but wanted to ask if it could be anything else. As you can see from pics, lump isn't visible when standing. Only lying down. I had a seroma at 2 weeks PO in that area which was aspirated. Could that be the cause of the hard lump, or maybe fat necrosis? I can feel the hardness to left of my belly button but also behind my belly button if I press inside it. Right side of stomach is soft. Thank you
6 months post ETT. Healed incision which had numerous spitting stitches that had delayed healing. Now that its fully healed however, there are about 5 stitches i can feel that have not yet dissolved and moved trying to find their way out. They are right under the scar. What can i do to encourage them to dissolve?
I am 52 years old. 56, 163lbs. I am in good health. I had a botched liposuction over 12 years ago. I went in for lipo to correct the lumps and unevenness of the belly. The upper part of my abdomen was big and the lower part was flat and lumpy. The first surgeon said I needed a tummy tuck to repair the abdominal wall. I am 6 months post op and there is no difference with my stomach except for scar tissues and keloids. what do I do? I am devastated.
Im currently 6 months po and as of yesterday Im experiencing a stinging sensation just below my belly button on the right side of stomach. I feel it when I stand/sometimes walk and move my waist especially when I sit for a long period then eventually stand. Its very strange feeling that has just started. When I press down on that area the feeling subsides a bit. What do you recommend, is this normal?
I had my tummy tuck 01/23 and feel like I have been swollen/bloated in my abdomen ever since. I have this horrible sunken in area in the top of my abdomen and then it protrudes out underneath the sunken area. Why would this have happened? I feel disfigured. The buldge is large enough to set small objects on . I never had that prior to surgery and now I'm terrified that I will look like this forever.
