Tummy Tuck + Cortisone Q&A

I'm ten weeks post op hysterectomy and full tummy tuck... I'm concerned about my scar just move the mons pubic area. It's bulging above me below and very tight. There is a Hard lump in the centre an the scar feels tethered down.. At my Last check up the nurse said the scar tissues may be stuck on the abdominal wall but my surgeon won't comment about it until my next check up in 1 months time. My belly button is also very hard and scared she suggested I may need cortisone shots? Should I worry?

I had a tummy tuck in April then cortisone injections in Oct. My scar looks really bad should I have scar revision or give it more time?

I'm 2 years post op tummy tuck surgery. Last year I had belly button revision surgery because my belly button closed. 4 months later my belly button closed again. Had another revision surgery but this time my surgeon completely closed my belly button. Now he wants me to come in every 3 months for cortisone shots where my belly button use to be. Will this help or is this just another procedure that's going to fail. I'm desperate at this point. Please help...

I had a tummy tuck 2 yrs ago, ever since then when I get in my chlorine pool, I itch like hell and have to get out of my pool. I have been to allergist With no relief, any suggestions??? I itch all over my body for days, cortisone shots do nothing for relief. Please help Thank You

It's been almost 3 years since my tummy tuck. I used the silicone sheets per my PS but didn't do the trick. I was then referred to a dermatologist who said it was a hypertrophic scar. There's also scars where the drains were left for 2 weeks. She first tried cortisone shots: painful and didn't see any improvement. Then micro-needling. It's been 2 months since my first session and I have not seen an improvement either. Keep trying? Other recommendations?

I had a tummy tuck 9 months ago and my belly button has a bit of a scar around it and started to close up. It is really tiny now. I tried putting in the soft earplugs to keep it open but even that just pops out, so I called my PS and was told to come in so he can have a look. He gave me a cortisone shot (three shots)right in the belly, this was done yesterday. The PS told me that he will do it again in three months if it is not open up, then again in another three months. Does that really work
