Hi, I had abdominoplasty and breast augmentation last November by board certified plastic surgeon, then I had breast implants removed by en bloc procedure after 8 months of having them. Now that I am three months out of en bloc. I gave my bloodwork, and it turned out that I have high platelet count than I had normal count last May before breast surgery. I contacted my breast plastic surgeon he said contact your primary care doctor. Whats your thoughts on this that caused high platelet count?
Im a 50yr old female. I had a tummy tuck and soon after pulling my drain I developed a seroma. It was drained at least 5 times until there was only 5cc. I continue to feel a lump above the umbilical are. I continued to hear your swollen n things will resolve. It has been 11 months and I had an ultrasound which proved to be a small seroma plus a wall of thick scar tissue that is hard to the touch. My plastic surgeon says leave it alone. Is there a risk in not removing it?
Bowel immotility - I had a tummy tuck on 1/6/23. In August of last year, I started having severe pain, like binding a corset. Now my bowels are not moving and the pain is excruciating. Is there a correlation. I have had several xrays, scans etc. and they don't reveal any organ problem. Could my nerve that controls my bowels be damaged from procedure. I need help.
I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair along with lipo of my back and arms in July '20. After the initial swelling my abdomen was nice and flat. Fast forward 10 months later I look bloated and pregnant. Had an ultrasound done and no hernia, my organs are fine and so on. Also had my PT check for any diastisis recti and my muscle repair is intact. I have no pain except discomfort when I eat a lot. I've reached out to the plastic surgeon to let him know the results. What could be causing this?
I am a 43and I had a tummy tuck, liposuction, and breast augmentation last august. From the beginning my tummy was bulged but surgeon said it was normal due the procedure. I didnt do much physical work and followed all the post surgery care directions. My tummy after surgery has never looked flat its hard and I have little sensation in the whole area. It looks swollen all the time and it worsen as the day goes on. By the end of the day I look like I am bloated but I am not. Is it permanent?

I had an abdominoplasty and hernia repair 11 months ago. Now I have a lump under the incision. Theres a little bit of pain when I press on it but not bad. I had a couple of small lumps shortly after the surgery that went away but can you still get scar tissue buildup 11 months post op? What else could it be?
I had a Mommy Makeover last December. There seems to be hardened fat or scar tissue under the skin where my tummy tuck scar is. It hasn't gone away. In fact, sometimes when I position my stomach in a certain way it seems to stick out. This is very concerning to me. Will this go away as I loose more weight?
I am 11 months out since I had my tummy tuck and my belly button still looks like a coin slot. Is it too late to use a shaper? I asked my surgeon shortly after the tummy tuck if there was a need for a belly plug and he said none of his patients ever had to worry about a belly plug and that I would be fine. I just wanted to know if it was too late to try and shape it now being that its almost a whole year out. Dont want to waste the money if theres really no chance of it stretching. Thank you so much for any help!!
