I work out regularly and almost down to my pre pregnancy weight. I am saving money now. I want to wear crop tops and bikinis like everyone else in hawaii but I have this bulging belly and extra skin that no amount of yoga and pilates will even start to scratch the surface.
work hard, eat clean pre-pregnancy my abdomen was this size. boot camp, hired personnel trainers, pilates(which was great) however as you can see in the pictures my abdomen is still in a world of its own. I've seen 5/6 surgeons, one misdiagnosed me telling me smart lipo will help, only two years later I was toldby the same surgeon and five others that only a tummy tuck will fix this issue. There are women who are similar some worse who've gotten lipo, or skin removal. Why can't I get skin removal?
I'm booked for a TT in 8 weeks. Per my doc's advice, I've lost weight. I'm down about 12 lbs and will easily and happily keep going until the surgery. I am happy about my results. I also started Pilates and have been more and more active (hikes, long walks, running). I know my private Pilates classes won't fix me enough to cancel surgery as I have significant DR and umb hernia after 2 babies, but will Pilates help strengthen me and result in an easier recovery or post op result?
