I’m 50, considering my first breast augmentation. One pregnancy, 25 years ago. Measurements: 168 cm (5'6"), 62–63 kg (137–139 lbs), underbust 75 cm (29.5"), bust ~90 cm (35.4"), breast base width 11.7 cm (4.6"). Current size 75B/34B; goal ~DD. I have strong pectoral muscles. I specifically want Mentor implants. I want clearly larger, fuller breasts, ideally 450–470 cc if anatomically reasonable. I like Kylie Jenner’s look: large, feminine and full, with some lateral fullness and a natural slope — not very round/high or the “two balls” look. Two surgeons suggested 440–470 cc Mentor SILTEX Round under the muscle. Another recommended 350–370 cc Mentor with dual-plane, saying my 11.7 cm base width makes >400 cc unsuitable. For surgeons experienced with Mentor: **Is 450–470 cc realistic for my anatomy? Which Mentor model/profile, width and projection would you consider?** If you would stay closer to 400 cc, why? With strong pecs, would you choose submuscular or dual-plane, especially regarding upper-pole transition, lateral fullness and animation with muscle contraction? I would prefer my desired size in the first surgery rather than going smaller and needing another operation later.

Answer

I am unsure of which would be the best procedure.… a breast lift, a fat transfer or and augmentation. My nipple position is asymmetrical still. What can be done to correct the lasting asymmetry in my breasts?

Answer

I have like five consultations set up to speak to a surgeon about augmentation and a lift. I really would love to avoid the lift because of the scars, but I do have some sag. It's mostly from loosing 60lbs 15 years ago, I don't think the girls look too different from 23 t 37. I am okay with a natural amount of droop to them when complete. I certainly want more projections and maybe a lift and aug is the only way to get the dream end result. I have very mild ptotis (like the edge of being a 1). What kind of results can I expect if I opted for only implants?

I am 30 years old and have one child via C-section. I have lost 71 lbs since giving birth and currently weight 175 lbs. I have some abdominal separation (diastasis) and a little loose skin. However, I have very prominent hip dips. I have received two quotes from two different doctors for a tummy tuck and BBL done at the same time. My question is, should I combine the surgeries? How safe is it combining this surgery?

Answer

I’m 43 years old and 4’11”. I’m already slim, so part of me worries that undergoing a full tummy tuck with muscle repair may be unnecessary or a waste of money. However, I remain very self-conscious about my lower abdomen and do not feel comfortable wearing a bikini. My surgeon recommended a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and told me that I will also have a short vertical scar on my lower abdomen, in addition to the horizontal tummy-tuck scar. Based on my photos: 1. Does a full tummy tuck with muscle repair appear appropriate for my anatomy? 2. Is muscle repair likely to provide a meaningful benefit for someone who has never been pregnant? 3. Does the short vertical scar appear necessary? 4. Could a mini tummy tuck, skin-only tummy tuck, or another approach improve my lower abdomen without the vertical scar? 5. Would the improvement likely be significant enough to justify the procedure for someone who is already slim? I understand that photos cannot replace an in-person examination. I’m seeking additional professional opinions before making my final decision.

Answer

Hi, I have a 6 cm diastasis recti and am considering a tummy tuck with muscle repair and possibly liposuction. However, I have a right pelvic (ectopic) kidney, and I’m wondering whether this could increase the risks of surgery or cause any complications. Would I still be a suitable candidate for the procedure? Thank you.

Recently lost 70+ lbs 5ft 157lbs now and I’m wanting to get a bbl but unsure if I should get a tummy tuck or bbl first? Some surgeons advised I do tummy tuck first then lipo with bbl but wouldnt that make me have loose skin on my stomach?

Answer

Thinking of getting Lipo 360 and BBL done at same time as my implant revision (larger implants under the muscle). Is the recovery possible? Also have a 3.5hr flight planned four weeks later, would I be miserable? Worried it’s too many procedures at once..

Answer

I am struggling to explain what I am wanting during my consultations. I am currently a DD and would prefer to be a C cup. However, I would also like fullness in the upper breast and don’t want to have to rely on a bra for cleavage. So, I want to be approximately a C—but I don’t want the deflated upper-pole appearance I see in many reductions. I want noticeable upper-pole fullness and projection, while still having a natural breast position and contour. I don’t want them sitting excessively high or looking large or obviously implanted. Is this even a possibility? Many consults have told me that a lift with implants defeats the purpose and I 100% understand that too. I am 49 yo, healthy female. Please help!

What qualifications should patients look for when choosing a provider for Botox injections? How do experience, facial anatomy, treatment goals, and safety practices affect the results? What questions should patients ask during a consultation before deciding on treatment?

Answer

I am recovering from a fractured jaw 3 months ago and want to get Botox in my forehead and marionette lines and lip fillers. Is this safe at this stage of fracture healing ?

Answer

I want a face/neck lift and revision rhinoplasty. Which procedure should be done first for optimal healing and cosmetic results? Will a facelift widen my nose? Thank you.

Answer

37, female. I have mild facial asymmetry from a jaw growth discrepancy (right side longer). In my early 30s I had dermal filler to camouflage it, which worked fwor a few years, but multiple rounds with different practitioners without dissolving left me overfilled and distorted. The extra weight and volume on the right was pulling that side down and making the asymmetry more noticeable. About 6 weeks ago I had most of it dissolved, unguided and without ultrasound. I think some remains, and I'm waiting for an ultrasound-guided appointment to dissolve the rest. I'm now left with deep tear trough/malar indentations (present since childhood, now much worse), mid cheek volume loss, and lower cheek hollowing and sagging. The sagging is worse on the right (the longer jaw side), especially around the mouth: a deeper right marionette fold and the right corner of my mouth drooping more. When I lift my right upper cheek slightly, the mouth droop and marionette fold disappear, so I think mid cheek descent is the main cause. I don't know whether the overfilling permanently stretched the tissue and made this side droop more after dissolving. A surgeon has recommended a deep plane facelift, with a small amount of SMAS fat grafted into the tear trough/malar indentation. My question is: Would I be suitable for any less invasive surgical options, such as other facelift techniques or fat grafting to more areas?

Answer

Hii, Could I get some advice? I want to get a small breast augmentation and I've visited 2 surgeons so far. I trust them both but they give me 2 completely different advices on implants. One surgeon told me to get 190 cc round moderate profile in my right breast and 165 cc round moderate profile in my left breast. He told me he only works with round implants because if it goes under the muscle (like in my case dual plane) it will take a teardrop shape due to the pressure the muscle gives on the implant. The other surgeon has advised me to get teardrop implants. On the left side 175 cc moderate profile and on the right side 205 cc low profile. The difference in profile is something I've never heard of before and on the internet I can't really seem to find people who have gotten that done. But this doctor has over 30 years experience so that is something to keep in mind for me that he knows what he's doing. He told me he thinks 2 different profiles would be right for me to make my breast even and because one of my breasts has a little more width. Now I really don't know what to choose for myself. I'm an AA cup now and I want to get a natural looking B cup with a bit of upper pool fullness. I'm scared of going too big since I'm very skinny and I want something that will fit my frame.

Answer

What is the danger of having an encapsulation or a leak of silicone implants?

Answer

I have teardrop silicone breast implants. Around June 2026, I noticed that my left breast had become significantly firmerand seemed rounder and more projected than it had previously been. I was concerned that I might be developing capsular contracture. What has confused me is that a few weeks later, my right breast seemed to do essentially the same thing, and the change in the right breast felt very sudden, almost overnight. I’ve attached comparison photos from July 26 and September 15. Both sets of photos were taken after I had already noticed the initial change, so the July photos are not true “before” photos, I do have an appointment for breast imaging, I'm just curious what else it could be? As it doesn't seem like it fits the definition of CC.

Answer

I’m concerned that my upper abdominal area looks uneven and does not match the smoother contour of my lower abdomen. I had expected the overall result to look more continuous and balanced as opposed to what appears to be a pinachable roll of fat that hangs and sags a bit especially when wearing high waisted pants. I’m trying to understand the best path forward, as I feel self-conscious wearing bikinis or athletic clothing that exposes my upper abdomen. I’m 5'4" and 117 lbs and previously underwent a mastopexy with lower abdominal and flank liposuction. I had been under the impression that my entire abdomen would be treated from top to bottom, but I was later told that the upper abdominal area I’m concerned about was not treated. I would really appreciate input from board-certified plastic surgeons on the following: Does the area above my belly button look like something that could benefit from revision liposuction? If so, is there a risk that it could make the contour more irregular? What is the likelihood the skin would retract as well as my lower abdomen result did? What revision options are typically considered for this type of concern? Is there another procedure that would better suit my concern? I understand that photos and an online post cannot replace an in-person evaluation. I’m mainly hoping to better understand what my options may be and what questions I should ask during a consultation. Thank you for any professional insight.

Answer

I am 45yo with DDD breasts that have been bothering me for years. I have a phobia of general anesthesia which has kept me from seeking a traditional breast reduction. I’m at my whit’s end with these heavy knockers and would love to hear from some doctors who have performed breast Lipo under light/twilight sedation. I have scattered fibroglandular breast tissue, and am 5’3” 150lbs, menopausal and finding weight exceptionally hard to shift now and breast tissue much bigger than 10 years ago.
