I Plan on getting a "mommy makeover" with a tummy tuck, breast lift and implants in the fall of 2016. I tore a ligament in my knee that temporarily is preventing me from being active. I am now about 25lbs heavier than I normally am but would like to choose a cosmetic surgeon soon. Should I wait until my injury has fully healed and I've lost the excess weight to start setting up and attending consults? Or can I start now and still get a good idea of what's needed while I have the extra weight?

Sounds like you are receiving excellent care from your chosen PS. In my precut I offer PRP infusion therapy with Laser Red light treatments, though there is a cost to doing this I find the healing speeds up...
We accept a number of financing companies including enhance patient financing. If you contact Enhance, they should be able to provide you a list of surgeons in your area that works with them.
I appreciate your question.
You might prefer to stay overnight the first night so the nurses can help look after you and manage your pain. Best to Discuss with your surgeon.
The best way to assess and give
true advice would be an in-person exam.
