Surgeons differ in their opinions of brow vs. upper eyelid. In your case I would lean more towards doing a brow lift.
You will benefit from all 3 procedures. However, if you could only do one, it would be upper eyelid blepharoplastyRegardsDr. Janjua
Currently, your eyebrows are positioned quite low, resulting in a narrow gap between the eyes and eyebrows. This causes the eyelids to appear heavily hooded and gives a somewhat bulging impression.A forehead lift (brow lift) raises the eyebrows, which helps to improve the heavy or tired appearance of the eyes, creating a more natural and refreshed look.Additionally, your forehead appears relatively wide, so I recommend combining the forehead lift with a forehead reduction surgery. This procedure involves making an incision along the hairline to lower the height of the forehead while simultaneously lifting the eyebrows.I suggest considering both the forehead lift and forehead reduction together for the best results.
I recommend an open brow lift with the incision at the hairline. This will decrease the vertical height of the forehead, lower the hairline and will raise the eyebrows. You may or may not need a blepharoplasty.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
This is a difficult question to answer based on 2 photos, but I will make some general comments. There does appear to be eyebrow depression, and this could be the result of the Botox that you received. If this is your natural brow position, then a browlift procedure would be needed. The risks of increasing the forehead length is increased with an endoscopic browlift, so perhaps another technique would be advisable, because of your current hairline. Some patients require both a browlift procedure and a blepharoplasty. This would be determined at the time of your consultation.
A combination of upper and tranconjuctival lower blepharoplasty would be my recommendation in your case. Good luck.
From the photographs presented, your eyebrow position is just fine, and a brow lift would make you look permanently too surprised. The goal of upper eyelid surgery is to remove hooded and extra skin on the upper lids and remove a small fat pocket on the inner corner. The goal of lower eyelid surgery at age 37 is to remove the fat bags creating the puffy look. That incision is called a trans conjunctival approach with two small incisions on the inside of the eyelid. No external incisions are needed. The incision for the upper lids is located directly in the eyelid crease. Choose your eyelid surgeon wisely based on extensive experience with eyelid surgery.
Based on the photos, the eye area appears sunken due to the facial structure, and the front cheekbones are quite prominent. Additionally, the skin has started to lose elasticity, resulting in sagging and the formation of fine wrinkles—particularly noticeable when smiling. When we smile,...
It seems that you would like to improve the sagging and hooded appearance of your upper eyelids. From the photos, we can also observe a noticeable asymmetry in the eyebrows in addition to the eyelids. The side with the lifted brow shows less hooding and a more open eye, while the side with the...
If it is truly your oculi muscle then Botox can be used to decrease the tone and may make an improvement. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
