I’m 24, 5’3 and 103lbs. I had a consultation with a surgeon and he recommended a lift as well as getting 345/365cc silicone high profile implants. My question is if I can get away with no lift? I’m aware of my sag, I do want to look more natural so the sag is no issue, I just want to be bigger. I’m currently like a 32A/B.
Answer: Bellesoma Method Your breasts are too low on the chest wall to undergo just an augmentation. I recommend a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Can I avoid a lift? From the photos the nipple position is low which generally indicates a lift is recommended. It's hard to say what you can "get away with" without further discussions of your goals for surgery. If you elect not to have a lift and would like a "perky" lifted look you will likely be disappointed.

Answer: My Recomendation Dear itsnotaftrica, thanks for sharing your questions and concerns, after evaluating your case, the position of your nipples are so under the inframammary fold with a marked ptosis, you look like a great candidate for breast augmentation with implants lift with this you can ensure armonic, stetic and long term results, however an augmentation alone can be performed but the look of your breast will be even saggier but bigger. Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia

Answer: Moderate breast sag lift with no lift with implant option Based on your photos and your desire for no Lyft, I would increase the size of the implants and try it that way you always can go back for a second surgery if you want a lift. Best of virtual consult with.

Answer: Who needs a breast lift with implants? If your nipple position is below the IMF(infra mammary fold) then you’ll need a lift with your implants. The surgeon can’t really alter where the implant sits so if the nipple sits below where the implant is going to be placed, the nipple will hang off the implant. Because we can’t determine the relationship between your nipple and IMF from your pictures, we can’t really tell you yes or no. I suggest you schedule a few more in person consultations to not only get confirmation, but also to help you find the better plastic surgeon for your needs. During each consultation, bring pictures of yourself to use as a reference. Ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
