Male, 34, 5'10, 180, NYC. Frustrated w/ my flanks/love handles and belly. Was a lot heavier in my youth so have a lot of faded stretch marks. If I focus on diet pretty intensely, I can get down another 5-10 pounds, but haven't been able to get lower than that and body shape stays similar. I had gynecomastia surgery at 18 and was happy with the results, but based on that and a childhood hernia surgery, I've found that I tend to scar and it takes a long time for my scars to fade, so have concerns about a tummy tuck (plus recovery time). Less concerned about cost within reason. Hoping for thoughts on: 1) Whether good results could be achieved with lipo (vs tummy tuck)? 2) If lipo, is there a particular form I should consider? 3) If there are other complementary options that I should consider concurrently? 4) Looking to do this in the late fall/early winter. Is it advisable to try to lose that additional 5-10 pounds over the next couple months before the surgery? Thank you!
I am a white, 36 year old female, never have had children. I had liposuction on my thighs and stomach 7 months ago. My thighs look good. My stomach looks ok. It is only slightly smaller than before, maybe half an inch in the waist. I have some bulging on top of my belly button area, which I assumed was excess fat and could be revised somewhat. I just had my final post op appointment today with my surgeon, and she told me that it is skin laxity and that, other than a tummy tuck, it is permanent. I was very strict with my faja. I wore it 24/7 for 2 months, then 12 hours a day for another month, to avoid any skin complications. My surgeon said Profound RF (deep microneedling with radio frequency) might help with the skin laxity, it might not. There is zero way to know. I never had bulging in my stomach area before getting liposuction. I absolutely do not want a tummy tuck, so that is out of the question. Do you have any advice for me at this point?
Are the thighs more prone to contour irregularities than other body parts? Which part of thighs are the least risky to lipo? I would like to get a breast fat transfer and this is the only area with sufficient fat. How much fat could be harvested?
Im 51, 130 pounds. I have more texture on the front of my thighs than the back, and I dont see a lot of legs that look like mine in that regard other than in lipedema forums. However, Ive been able to lose inches on my legs with weight loss, despite the texture remaining. Could I benefit from liposuction as far as seeing a reduction in texture on the front of the thighs and around the knee area? would that be able to be done in one procedure?
I've been self-conscious about my legs since I was a teen. I hold on to stubborn fat mostly in my lower legs. I had high hopes to get liposuction on lower legs but heard that calf liposuction can be risky, with uneven results (dimples/lumpy skin) Is this only true for traditional liposuction, or are there other options available with better outcomes? Should I focus liposuction on just my knees instead? Id really appreciate any advice or recommendations. Thank You
I've always had quite a blocky abdomen, and since I'm planning to go into surgery to get a breast augmentation, I was wondering if at the same time I could remove some fat from the sides of my waist to give me the illusion of having some hips? Could I be a candidate for this? Or am a too lean for this to achieve anything worthwhile? Thanks
