Answer: Considering a Lift? Why Smaller Implants Might Be the Right Fit When undergoing a breast lift, it creates an opportunity to significantly reduce implant size without causing loose or sagging skin—something that isn’t always possible otherwise. From there, there are two options for volume: fat grafting using your own fat, or using smaller implants. Fat grafting offers a subtle increase in volume but has limited ability to enhance shape or projection. Implants, by contrast, provide more reliable contour, fullness, and upper pole shape. If implants aren’t a concern, combining a breast lift with smaller implants is often the most effective way to achieve a proportionate result. Based on your frame and the amount of breast tissue present (which would need to be evaluated in person), implant sizes in the 280–350cc range could be a good fit for your goals. – Dr. B

Answer: Breast lift Dear Humorous837094, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. Answer: What size will I be? Depending how long you've had your implants and if your weight has been stable you will have about the same amount of breast tissue as you had before augmentation. If that is the size you are wanting then a lift should be adequate. If you want more volume then you can add a small implant.

Answer: Lift What size were you before you got breast implants? That would be the easiest way to say what size you’ll most likely be without implants. If you were a B or C before surgery, then you’ll be about that size if your implants are removed and you get a lift.
