Mommy Makeover without Lipo, will I look weird? (Photo)

Looking at your photos I think you will have a nice result with a  tummy tuck and ba/bl. Liposuction may make some improvement but will not look 'weird' if you don't have it. Hope this helpsJosh Olson MD

A tummy tuck with breast lift and augmentation could give you an attractive flat stomach, perky full breasts, and a boost in your self esteem.  That being said, it has been my experience that when you pull down the abdominal tissue, you are decreasing the total vertical height of the skin and subcutaneous tissue on your mid-abdomen.  This decrease in height pushes some of the subcutaneous fat out laterally, so that when I have done tummy tucks on very slender women, I find that they bulge out towards the love handles.  Interestingly enough, I have never seen this written up in any of my plastic surgery journals.  The obvious suggestion is that you should speak to your personal Board Certified surgeon to get his or her take on this excellent question.

Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. You could certainly proceed with no liposuction if you wish. Typically, Liposuction included with a Tummy Tuck is not to the lower back and hips, but for the upper/lower abdomen. Talk to you Plastic Surgeon about your wishes and your surgical Plan.All the best

you will not look weird, but liposuction of your sides will improve your results and will be very happy with it.

Hi... thank you for the question and photos... It will not look weird, but the Liposuction on flanks usually improve waist contour. 

Thank you for your inquiry and photos. I usually recommend having liposuction done to have better results, lipo con be preformed on stomach and flanks and/or back only. You do not necessary need to have lipo done however its a suggestion to improve results. I recommend seeking a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss details. Best wishes! 

I think liposuction would be a modest added benefit but not performing it certainly will not sabotage operation. I think you can look forward to an excellent result.
