Do I need a breast lift? You might not need one. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and...
I think you had a meaningful discussion with your PS. All his/her points are valid. I would imagine that after the skin is elevated and the muscle tightened, he/she can re-drape the skin and basically put the umbilicus back to where it is naturally located with removal of a SMALL amount of lower skin like a mini-tt. The confusion from all of the answers is because umbilical floats are rarely done with good reason. However, if you have an experienced surgeon, I think this is a valid option....
Great question—most of your result happens in the first 6–8 weeks. You control a lot of it with prep, surgeon choice, and how you protect the grafts while they “re-plug in.”Before surgery (sets the stage) • Stable weight for ~3–6 months; avoid crash diets after surgery. • Absolutely no nicotine/vaping 4 weeks before and at least 6 weeks after—nicotine chokes the tiny vessels your fat needs to survive. • Control diabetes/thyroid/iron issues; high-protein diet (about 1.2–1.6 g/kg/...
Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The bump can be taken down, and the tip, which is a bit wide, can be narrowed some. This would create a nicely improved nose that also continues to look natural and masculine. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.
When Can I Go in the Hot Tub After TT, BA? I Am 6 Weeks Post-op and my Doctor Said I Could Swim, but I Wasn't Sure About Hot Tub
Congratulations on your Mommy Makeover! With normal healing I advise patients they can go in a pool, bath or the ocean six weeks after surgery. The incisions will have healed to a degree that the risk of introducing bacteria is minimal. Each surgeon will have their own protocol so it is best to check with yours before proceeding.
If you currently have 800g of tissue per breast and 400g is removed they will be about half the size they are now. The band size around your rib cage will remain the same but the breast itself will be smaller and more lifted since a lift is part of the procedure. You can anticipate going down multiple cup sizes.
Thank you for your inquiry! We, at Mays Plastic Surgery, would love to meet with you to discuss your concerns. Typically, waiting until after you have reached within 10-15 pounds of your goal weight is the best time for surgery. Losing weight can alter the end result. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Mays, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, to help you reach your goals.
Good morning. To give you an accurate assessment, it would be ideal to have better photos that clearly show the degree of looseness in your skin. However, if the sagging is not severe, you could be a good candidate for a 360 liposuction with BBL at this stage. Young skin, like yours at 20 years old, usually has good retraction capacity. Later on, after having all your children, you could consider an abdominoplasty if your skin and abdominal muscles require it. You can write to us at...
It seems you have an overall nice result. You do have a mild indentation in the right lower lid and this could be a from a mild overcorrection but this is a known risk of the surgery though uncommon. I would speak with your surgeon about replacing the lack of volume in this area with filler or fat. Sometimes a discounted rate can be offered if you go back to the same provider.
Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for facial plastic surgery. First of all working on the brow, eyelids, upper lip, and facial hollows would give you great results for sure. It's kind of hard to see your neck and jawline, but a lower face and neck lift might be needed as well. Be sure to see a facial specialist for consultation to work out the best plan for you.
