Our Hidef Acne Scar Protocol would be ideal for your scars and includes Ematrix RF, laser resurfacing, fractional RF and laser, subcision, fillers, and skin treatments. Start with Melarase twice daily.

Multiple treatments

Acne scar revision is a specialised field. For the best results, one should target the acne scar type with ideal treatments. For example deep ice pick scars, and narrow box car scars can be treated with TCA CROSS peels, mixed scars, rolling, and atrophic scars treated with fractional devices such as Fraxel, fractional lasers, and INFINI radiofrequency. Atrophic scars (depressions) can be treated with either fat grafts, or with HA dermal fillers. Tethered and anchored scars are best treated with surgery.

The majority of patients will have a collection of different scar types, and hence a tailored treatment METHOD will be best. Careful examination, especially under angled lighting with scar mapping will give you an understanding of what are the best options for your scars. In your case I would start off with INFINI RF, 2-3 sessions followed by subcision and dermal fillers. You do have some tethered or anchored scars, so releasing them will give you a good result.

Deep saucer shaped scars

In my opinion, scars are treated  based upon their type. You have several deep saucer shaped scars. These scars need to be lifted. Treatment for deep scars include subcision, TCA cross, fillers, and RF Micro Needling ((infini). With the exception of fillers, all of the above are  from repair procesess induced in your body and are long lasting. Ablative and non-ablative lasers are excellent at smoothing the edges of scars however they will not lift the base. Find an acne scar expert. View photos of similar patients. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Best treatment for Acne Scars

These scars are more difficult and need treatment with a combination of fillers and lasers.  I use a lot of Sculptra to improve the collagen and build up your natural collagen under the skin.  This combined with eMatrix or Fraxel for several treatments provides you with the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green

Fat fill for acne scars

Thank you for sharing your photos. These post acne scars seems to be quite deep. Hence an autologous fat transfer is recommended. This is a simple procedure where your own fat from body can be used to fill the region to be treated accurately releasing the scar. The treatment could even be benefited with a few sessions of micro needling post fat fill. Consult your cosmetic surgeon before taking up any treatment protocols.
