Improving Dark Scars--lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, skin care, sun protection

These can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Treating Dark Spots / PIH

Thanks for your question and a posting picture.  I can't see the scars in the picture.  The dark spot look like you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).  After a personal consultation, we would probably recommend the PicoSure Laser with the FOCUS and/or Flat Lens for pigment correction.  The FOCUS lens also works well on scar reduction.  PicoSure is safe for all skin types.  Depending on the severity of the pigment, it will probably take 1 to 4 treatments.  Best of luck.
