Hi, I’m interested in getting a breast augmentation because I would like a change in my breast shape and size. I’ve noticed that my boobs spread to the side and is shaped almost like a cone. I’m not sure if this is a sign of tuberous breast or if I just have east west oriented breasts.?And can I ever get centered and round boobs with breast implants?

Answer: Implants can’t centered your nipples Upon reviewing your photos, I can confirm that you do not have a tuberous breast deformity. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the position of your areolas using implants alone. While we can reposition the nipples with a breast lift surgery, you currently do not need such a procedure. You may, however, be a good candidate for breast augmentation. My suggestion is to try to make peace with the current position of your nipples. If you require a breast lift in the future, we can then reposition the nipples accordingly.

Answer: Not tuberous Your breasts are not tuberous, they are simply widely separated. I recommend a circumareola approach to remove more skin medially to pull in the nipple-areola complexes more centrally. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
