I had rhinoplasty and there is now a bump under my septum that feels very solid. My surgeon says it does not feel like scar tissue and thinks it could be cartilage. I left it for a couple years because I didn’t want additional surgery if it was cosmetic but I’ve learned that it hurts sometimes and wearing snorkel masks really hurts the area. She suggested she could inject it with Kenalog to dissolve it but I’m confused with that option as no research I’ve done supports that being effective. Is this something I should avoid? Would it help?? What are my options?
