Will my laser burn scar go away? (Photo)

I removed my 2 flat moles by normal laser treatment. It burned my moles and after a while they fell off themselves. However, I have got burn marks and not sure how long it'll take for them to go away. I have been applying Olive oil to treat my scars. NOTE: it's been only two weeks since I had my treatment. Please advise as I am worried about my face after reading some reviews.

Fillers, lasers, microneedling, PRP and subcision can be used to improve scarring. I suggest seeking an experienced board certified dermatologist for appropriate wound care and scar prevention. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your question.  Those do appear to be burns that are healing and they should improve over time, though they may never be 100%.  I would apply a silicone product like BioCorneum to them instead of olive oil.  I advise you to follow up with your board certified Dermatologist for further evaluation and management.  Please only have moles removed by a Dermatologist.  Regards, Dr. Matt Elias
