I am considered obese based on my BMI of 39.5. I was curious which weight loss option would be best for me.
I am 260 lbs. at 5'8. I need to lose about 80 pounds to be healthy and comfortable. I have insulin resistance and polycystic ovarian disease. I've lost 70 pounds previously but I always seem to gain it back. I'm not interested in the lap band since I've only heard horror stories, and surgery makes me nervous, but I don't think I'll lose the weight I need with the balloon, plus it's not covered by insurance. Do that have any suggestions on which procedure would be right for me?
