This looks like a hypertrophic scar. Your doctor’s decision to try steroid injections is understandable, but at this point I would not recommend continuing them. Steroids can help in some cases, but they can also cause skin thinning, broken capillaries, indentations and tissue irregularities it seems you’re already beginning to experience these side effects. This is not a keloid, so it doesn’t require aggressive treatment. What is really needed right now is time and proper scar care.If the s...
Thanks for your question! You actually have a really nice size and shape to your areola but you are very bottom heavy. The word to describe your breasts is "psuedoptotic". I would suggest a reverse mastopexy and we may not even need to touch the areola. If you definitely want them smaller, you would need to consider a true breast lift. A donut lift would not work for you. Good luck!
Great question—most of your result happens in the first 6–8 weeks. You control a lot of it with prep, surgeon choice, and how you protect the grafts while they “re-plug in.”Before surgery (sets the stage) • Stable weight for ~3–6 months; avoid crash diets after surgery. • Absolutely no nicotine/vaping 4 weeks before and at least 6 weeks after—nicotine chokes the tiny vessels your fat needs to survive. • Control diabetes/thyroid/iron issues; high-protein diet (about 1.2–1.6 g/kg/...
Yes your bridge can be lowered and I think you would get a nice result. I would perform this as a closed rhinoplasty but open rhinoplasty would work as well
Buglesalmoncat,Choosing a surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery is a very important step to ensure the level of education, training, and experience of your surgeon. To become board certified by ABPS, a doctor must have completed a surgical residency or fellowship in plastic surgery, passed both a written and oral exam, adhere to ethical and safety guidelines, operate in accredited facilities, and participate in continuing medical education. The Board of...
Thanks for your question! Seeing that you are two years out, there isn't a lot you can do at this point unfortunately. I'm sorry! Best of luck!
Cup size isn't important. How you look in the mirror is. that's why you need to get sized in the office by the surgeon. That will inform the surgeon the correct implant for you.
Since you plan to have children in the future, the volume and skin structure of your abdominal area may change over time. This means that a small procedure performed now could potentially become less satisfying or need revision later on.That said, a small, targeted liposuction around the belly button area can be done to achieve a subtle improvement in shape. By reducing the excess fat around the navel, it’s possible to create a more balanced and rounded appearance. However, this is not a s...
Morpheus8 and similar energy devices must be used with extreme caution. These devices, especially when used on the face, will melt the fat and cause damage to tissues and deep structures. A lower blepharoplasty will correct dark circles and under-eye puffiness.
You can reposition your buccal fat pads to reduce the appearance of a heavy jowl. You do not want to remove them because they play a pivotal role in facial structures. If you're not ready for surgery, I do preach that you should avoid the use of ANY energy devices in this area of the face. Devices such as Morpheus8, Profound, Ultherapy, and more damage the skin, destroy fat and tissues of the face and leave disastrous deformities that cannot be reversed.
