First let me give you a tip: you can use an effective face cream under the eyes. There is usually nothing magical about the eye cream formulas over the face cream. Just an opportuity of the cosmetic company to hike up their costs. Also, they ( and You) may get a little placebo effect going.

My favorite regimen: RevaleSkin Intense Recovery Treatment combined with Tazarac cream 0.05 per cent. Use the latter gingerly, and you must not use if you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant. If you WANT to spend the extra money then use their RevaleSkub Replenishing Eye Therapy ( this contains some extra caffeine). In the morning I would recommend SkinCeuticals CE and Ferulic. A A recent clinical study perfomred in Japan confirmd the postive attributes of Vitamin C for under eye treatment.

I also like Teamine eye Complex and Replenix Eye Cream.

Wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes are due to a number of factors: age, sun exposer, lack of sleep, and genetics. The skin in the periorbital area is the thinnest of the face, which makes blood vessels underneath visible and creates a darkened reflection. Below are some ingredients you should look for in your eye cream.

  • Eye Cream: that includes Retinol, Peptides, Caffeine, and Antioxidants.

-Retinol works by exfoliating dead skin cell leading to collagen production.

-Peptides applied topically send “signals” to through the skin to prompt the formation of new collagen.

-Caffeine constricts blood vessels which will reduce puffiness and redness.

-Antioxidant (ex: Vitamin C or Green tea) offer powerful protection from the sun and also brighten the skin.
