Arm lift or BodyTite? (Photo)

Question

I've lost about 35kgs bd my arms are starting to bother me ,mainly in the armpit crease . I would like a more toned outlook . Would Bodytite or J plasma work or do I need a arm lift ? I'm not sure about the scar

Hello! Thank you for your question. You are a perfect candidate for bodytite. Bodytite is a mininally invasive proceudre that uses a cannula to melt fat, while stimulating collagen underneath the skin to help tighten your skin. After the fat has been destoryed, we lipo the area complete your treatment with complimentary Morpheus for addtional skin tightening. This treatment takes about 2 1/2 hours. It requires minimal downtime; some patients even go back to work the next day. All your fat removed same day, but the skin tightening process takes place over time. If you want the risk-free approach, arm lift is a surgery will give you guaranteed results because the loose skin is removed. But the biggest problem is the surgical scar left behind and unfortunately, this scar can look very annoying in someone who wears short sleeves or straps.But if you are a risk-taker, the excess fat in the arm can be removed with a 3 mm incision in your arm fold and your arm skin can be tightened with Renuvion J Plasma or Bodytite. Methods such as Renuvion J Plasma or Bodytite heat the subcutaneous tissue up to 65-80 °C, both shortening the collagen fibers in the skin and ensuring the formation of new collagen. The result of these methods is tightening of the skin within 6 months. However, it is not possible to predict the amount of this tightening in advance. There may be serious tightening differences between patients undergoing the same application. So the result is not standardized. But it can always bring you to a better place than your initial situation. The younger the patient and the denser the subcutaneous connective tissue, the greater the effect. If you think that you do not see enough effect, there is no obstacle to arm lift. You'd be a fantastic candidate for Body Tite. Surgery would leave a scar from elbow to underarm and 4-6 weeks of down time. Body Tite is minimally invasive which uses a small canula which goes underneath the skin to melt and destroy the fat and the skin tightens over time.  Depending on the treatment area, down time can be from 1-2 days to up 10 days. You will need additional skin tightening treatment for optimal skin tightening results. Full results take up to 10-12 months.

Stubborn arms after large weight loss are common.

Your arms do not have the typical lax skin which usually requires an arm lift with long scar.

In my experience, Vaser ultrasound liposuction will tighten skin and avoid arm lift scars in cases such as yours.  J plasma may have similar results.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon who performs these procedures is recommended to confirm you are a candidate as well as discuss your options and expectations.

Congratulations on your impressive weight loss!  From the posted photos you appear to be a good candidate for BodyTite.  This minimally invasive procedure uses RF technology on top of and just under the skin's surface to tighten skin. No general anesthesia is required. A 35 kg weight loss is a significant amount of weight loss which will result in leftover loose skin. Pictures such as the ones that you have submitted are not enough as an individual involved should always be touched to see what the tissues are like at present time.tight provide minimal tissue tightening. Renuvion might provide a little bit more but again you need to be examined in person in the hands of a plastic Surgery.   Bodytite provide minimal tissue tightening in my opinion. . Renuvion might provide a little bit more, but again you need to be examined in person in the hands of a Plastic surgeon. The scar should be as thin as the largest line on the palm of your hand.
