35 y/o, 134lb, powerlifter/athlete. Mother of 2 (14 y/o, 11 y/o). 1st kid, natural; 2nd kid, Csection. I do Not like the appearance of my lower stomach skin. I feel that BodyTite would be a good choice just to “Tighten/Smooth” my lower stomach skin. I do NOT want a tummy tuck! Not trying to change my entire stomach appearance, just tighten/smooth my lower stomach above my C-section scar. BTW this lighting really shows the imperfections, my skin does not look this in most lighting. Would BT work?
Answer: Yes Hi, thank you for your question! You are a great candidate for Bodytite. BodyTite uses radiofrequency assisted lipolysis technology, which can significantly reduce fat and stimulate collagen production for improved skin firmness. This method works to liquefy and remove fat, targeting problem areas while simultaneously tightening the skin. BodyTite is less invasive than traditional liposuction, with shorter recovery time and minimal scarring. I think you would have great results!

Answer: BodyTite can help, but limited Thank you for your question and the photos. You appear to have a fairly prominent diastasis and because of the muscle separation, even BodyTite is going to leave you with lower protrusion. The amount of skin tightening is not enough to smooth that area in my opinion. I know that you specifically said that you don't want a TT, but I'm afraid some form of that is the only thing that is going to give you the result you want. Spending thousands of dollars on a procedure that doesn't meet your expectations is a sure fire way to have a disappointed patient and surgeon. A miniTT would remove the stepoff of the C-section scar and allow repair of the diastasis (at least up to the BB). Combining BT/Morpheus w/ lipo of the upper abdomen in the front and then lateral bra roll/flanks in the back would definitley give more waistline definition. Best of Luck!

Answer: Is BodyTite the answer to help smooth and tighten this lower abdomen Hi Courtswonderland, Thanks for the photos! You definitely look like a great candidate for BodyTite. Your photos show some mild fat deposition and mild skin laxity in the lower abdomen, but for having 2 children, you look great overall. BodyTite should remove some of the residual fat but also tighten up your skin. You can also get some instant tightening by contraction of the fibroseptal network bands although this can vary by patient. Just remember that skin tightening by making new collagen can take up to 6-9 months for some patients, so plan accordingly if you are thinking of looking better for vacations, etc. Work with a physician who is experienced in using BodyTite and can show you photos of results on actual patients they have treated. Best wishes, Mary Beth Mudd

Answer: Improving lower abdominal skin after babies Even though you look great, especially considering you’ve had two children, there is some protrusion of the abdominal muscles. The abdominal muscle protrusion is most likely caused by the weakness of the abdominal wall muscles, as well as the possibility of some visceral fat presence. I would first try to lose anywhere between 5 and 10 pounds and see if your belly gets flatter, and if not, I would consider having what we call a Brazilian thong tummy tuck, which involves having an incision made as short as your C-section score, during which the muscles are actually tightened, and a small amount of skin is removed without touching the bellybutton. The result of this procedure will get rid of this overhang from the C-section scar. In this procedure our patients do not have any postoperative pain and do not require any kind of drains. You can visit our Instagram and see how our patients are doing after such procedures, I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery . P. S. Body tite will do absolutely nothing for you.
