Hello,Thank you for sharing your concerns. What you’re describing is actually more common than you might think.A very effective approach is a combination of breast implants to correct size difference and improve shape, along with liposuction to the side area to remove the excess fullness and create a more balanced, symmetric contour. This combination can restore proportion, improve symmetry, and help you feel much more confident in your appearance. A consultation will allow us to d...
It’s great that you’re thinking ahead about your belly button healing, that’s an important part of tummy tuck recovery. Since you’re prone to keloids, it’s smart to consider how your belly button might heal. Many patients find that while tummy tuck scars can sometimes form keloids, the belly button can often be shaped in a way that any scar is subtle and well-hidden.If a keloid does form, there are several approaches besides laser, including silicone treatmentss, steroid injection...
We don’t “move fat.” Migration often means the fat was placed in the wrong plane or in unstable tissue. The correction plan might include lipo in those areas and proper grafting to stable gluteal layers. It’s fixable — but safely, strategically, and with imaging.
Hello and thank you for your question. The final results take at least 1.5 years for the swelling to fully resolve. This can require lots of patience and waiting. Steroid injections performed by your surgeon can be extremely helpful. I usually start steroid injections around 1 to 2 months after surgery and continue as needed. With that being said, the final outcome will really depend on the surgical techniques that your surgeon used during your surgery. I recommend that you maintain close...
In my practice, I absolutely perform combined procedures, but only when a patient’s health, labs, and exam support it — and only if I am confident the surgery can be completed safely within a reasonable timeframe (typically around 6–7 hours). If the projected time or medical factors suggest it is pushing the limits of safety, then staging the procedures is the better option to protect your long-term outcome. When considering a breast lift, 360 tummy tuck/body lift, liposuction, and BBL t...
You are likely a good candidate for breast reduction. I would consult with surgeons in your area to get a better idea of what breast reduction would look like for you. Some patients have reduction through health insurance and others have it done on their own terms, cosmetically. Many people express relief from symptoms associated with large breasts after breasts are reduced and placed in proper position on your chest wall.
How much of your breast hanging below your inframammary fold and/or the position of your nipple relative to the fold will determine whether a lift is necessary to achieve a beautiful result.
Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin - Winnetka & Chicago. This is a great question. What you’re describing—persistent flushing and burning after a facelift combined with profractional laser, starting a couple of months post-procedure—can occur even in patients with no prior rosacea. This may represent a post-procedural inflammatory or vascular response, sometimes called persistent post-laser erythema, or a form of iatrogenic rosac...
Thank you for submitting your question and photo! Liposuction on the thighs can absolutely be an option for patients who struggle with stubborn fat that doesn’t respond to diet or exercise. The procedure works best for targeted contouring rather than overall weight loss. For many patients, leg liposuction helps improve shape and proportion, giving a smoother and more defined contour. However, ideal candidates are typically at or near a stable weight, with good skin elasticity — this hel...
Thank you for your photos. You appeared to be young and therefore a direct brow lift where the incision is placed just above your eyebrows seems a bit aggressive. A direct brow lift is a good option in older patients whose brows hang low. If an upper blepharoplasty is performed in these patients, it fixes the brow into that lower position. Your brow looks like it is in reasonable position and therefore an upper blepharoplasty would be your best option to equalize and rejuvenate your upper...
