Is the morph achievable through rhinoplasty and genioplasty? (Photos)

I would like to know the extent to which the procedures can produce a close result to the morph provided from the previous picture while keeping a natural look as well as possible pricing.

Based on your images, I think you have a reasonable expectation that should be accomplished with a well performed procedure. The nasal tip needs better projection, and a chin implant can nicely compliment the result. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

In the two profile photos, the edited image shows a straighter, less prominent nasal bridge and modest forward chin projection compared with the original. Those goals may be approachable with rhinoplasty and sliding genioplasty, but a two-dimensional morph cannot predict skin thickness, cartilage behavior, bone healing, or the final view from the front.

Before choosing genioplasty, the surgeon should assess your bite, lower-jaw position, lip support, and facial proportions; significant jaw or bite imbalance may require an orthodontic or maxillofacial evaluation rather than treating the chin alone. Computer imaging is most useful for agreeing on direction and avoiding overcorrection. Pricing varies substantially with surgical scope, anesthesia, facility, and region, so obtain itemized quotes after examination; combining procedures may reduce duplicated facility costs but should be based on safety and operative time.

As you have shown with your computer imaging, both rhinoplasty and mental plasty may be considered for improving upon somebody’s facial profile appearance, by adding balance. We advocate, shin implant surgery over genioplasty surgery, since it is more predictable, easily reversible, and has much less inconvenience and downtime. Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. Addressing the shape of your nose is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (particularly the bridge and the tip)! You would have an amazing (and natural-looking) result!

I see you're also interested in augmenting your chin. The best way to properly address this is with a chin implant to improve the overall harmony of your facial features, especially from your side profile. It's actually pretty common to need both procedures instead of just the rhinoplasty! I could even perform both procedures at the same time.

Rhinoplasty truly is a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I also trained under a world-renowned master of complex facial aesthetics!

Thank you for your question.I find morphing very helpful to explain to my patients the potential changes that can be achieved but do also emphasise that it is not an exact identical outcome that may arise. With that in mind, the adjusted picture that you present does seem to be a reasonable goal that can be aimed for both with the rhinoplasty and chin aspects but as per one of the other surgeon's comments, the change in the chin is perhaps a little too over-projected.

From the photos you’ve provided you can absolutely have the chin and nose that you have been playing with in your own images. I might suggest a slightly less pronounced chin as this seems to overtake your lower face a bit. It could be disgusting during a consultation, using morphine. Most importantly, the morphing of the images should be completely transparent, and your surgeon should simply convey you that these are morph images.

Hello and thank you for your question. I highly recommend that my patients focus much more on real longterm before and after photographs rather than 3D imaging.   I encounter so many patients in my practice who see me for revision rhinoplasty who previously had surgery elsewhere who feel like they were mislead into surgery by surgeons who relied heavily on 3D imaging without adequate real before and after pictures to back it up.  Photoshop is easy but real surgery is very different.

I always recommend that you carefully evaluate your surgeon’s online before and after gallery on their website for both quality and quantity of results. Make sure that there are hundreds of real before and after pictures which demonstrate long-term follow up results. If your surgeon is posting mostly on table results without real long-term follow up results, that is usually a major red flag.  If a surgeon is posting mostly just splint removal day videos without longterm follow-up pictures, or all patient selfie’s without real longterm in-office formal pictures that can also be a red flag.   Long-term results are much more meaningful than on table results or 1 week post-op results. Selfie’s can also be fun to look at, but these can often have a filter and do not represent true longterm results because of this and are not as valuable as real longterm in-office before and after photographs on your surgeon’s website.

With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
