Thank you for your question in regards to photo facials. A gentle cleanser can be used after a photo facial, but it is important to not exfoliate the skin. Be sure to review post-care instructions. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.
You can wash your face 5 hours after the procedure. Make sure you are not using anything too harsh. The most important post procedure instruction is to keep your skin moist and to not pick the scabs that may form. Wear SPF and wait until all the brown flakes fall off on their own. Hope this helps.
Post-care of Photofacial
You can use any gentle facial cleanser. If any sunspots darken then you want to let it naturally flake off. You can apply make up on the face the saem day and be sure to wear a physcial block everyday.
