Hey yall. I’m interested in a brow bone augmenting prodecudre to masculinize my front and side profiles. Has anyone got any advice on using dermal fillers for this purpose? I am also considering a procedure to lower the height of my eyebrows — would appreciate advice on that as well.

Thank you for your question. Dermal fillers can be used for brow bone augmentation to achieve a more masculine appearance, though the results are temporary (typically lasting 9–18 months depending on the product used and individual metabolism). Fillers can enhance the prominence and projection of the brow ridge to mimic a more angular, traditionally masculine profile. However, the degree of enhancement possible is limited by the thickness of your overlying skin and the safety margins of the area (especially near the eyes).

If you're seeking a more permanent and structurally significant result, surgical brow bone augmentation using implants or bone cement may be more appropriate.

Regarding lowering eyebrow height, Botox or other neuromodulators can sometimes be used strategically to relax the muscles that elevate the brows, leading to a slightly lower brow position. For a more noticeable or permanent change, a surgical brow repositioning procedure may be necessary.

It’s important to consult with a board-certified dermatologist or facial plastic surgeon experienced in gender-affirming aesthetics to determine which option best suits your anatomy and goals.
