Depending on the depth of lip wrinkles, there are a number of options. Very superficial wrinkles can be treated using microdermabrasion and/or fillers. Small amounts of Botox injected very judiciously works very well. More aggressive laser resurfacing (such as Active-FX) can also be used either alone or in combination.

Lip wrinkles can be dynamic as a result of orbicularis oris hypertrophy or static from atrophy of the lip soft tissue. If the wrinkles are dynamic, small amounts of Botox will improve the wrinkles. If static, Juvederm or Restylane are ideal to increase the volume of the lip and plump the area.

If the wrinkles are static, then juvederm or restylane would work well. Botox in small amounts would be an option for dynamic wrinkles. Laser is another option either in combination or solely. Consult with 3 - 4 board certified plastic surgeons to understand your options.
