A Thick Lump Appears After a Burn on my Son's Neck? (photo)

Hi, my son got a burn on his neck 2 months ago, and it was healing great, but because he is 2 years old, he won't let us touch it, sometimes i used to put an ointment on it while he was sleeping and still was hard to manage, there is a part that we couldn't peel it, my question is why a thick lump appears after month and a half, I am attaching some pictures, please help.

Scar removal on the neck that may be a keloid from a burn

This scar may represent hypertrophy and early keloid formation.  I would begin immediate treatment with laser, IIT, and pressure.
