695/695cc HP UTM implants. Is a breast lift needed? (photo)

I had a breast augmentation in 2022. 400/445cc UHP UTM. I had two kids since then, so things have changed a bit. Plus, I desire larger boobs to help with more natural cleavage. I am scheduled for 695/695cc HP UTM implants. But my surgeon said he’d advise a lift for my nipple symmetry. He said bigger implants without a lift will exaggerate the asymmetry. Is this true? Can I avoid extra incisions ans have my nipples look at least the same as now? I’m wanting to avoid a lift if possible. Thoughts?

It is true that asymmetry can be enhanced with larger implants, so a lift would be recommended. Please note that cleavage will probably not be significantly improved with larger implants alone, as the space between your breasts is more dependant on the distance between your breasts before surgery. While it may be improved somewhat, it would be better to ask your surgeon by how much to see whether it would be enough to achieve your goals.

At this time, your breasts are wider than your chest wall, are mechanically unstable and will descend inferiorly and laterally.  Going to larger implants will be a terrible mistake.

The implants you are considering are large for your frame and can lead to complications.  If the nipple asymmetry you have now doesn't bother you then you do not need to address it, but with more volume it may appear more exaggerated.

Your asymmetry and nipple malposition could be corrected with an open capsulotomy and mesh support
