Yes, part of rhinoplasty can include debulking soft tissue of the nasal tip while also shaping the cartilages and providing tip support with grafts. I would also potentially consider seeing a dermatologist for low dose Accutane to help thin the skin. I would see an American Board of Plastic Surgery Certified Plastic Surgeon with experience in rhinoplasty.

Based on your photo, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The tip can be made thinner and lifted some, while keeping it looking natural. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

With tip-plasty it is possible to reduce the bulbousity (roundness and bulk) of the tip. The procedure is quick and can be done under local anesthesia. The swelling can take up to a year to completely resolve.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

The nose is a three-dimensional structure, therefore a full set of facial photographs from all angles are required to make a determination about how best to proceed with a surgical closed rhinoplasty procedure.
