I am interested in booking a consultation to correct the issue. I notice that the tip of the nose is very round with no definition. Although my side profile of the nose is good with no bumps but you can see the rounded tip. I don’t know if it is bulbous or not. I come from Moroccan/Portuguese backgrounds.
Answer: Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a narrowed nasal tip appearance. Based on your photos, you appear to have excessive and bulky nasal tip cartilages on both sides. Consider meeting with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists so you can see what to expect after surgery. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Tip rhino It is definitely possible to refine your tip during a rhinoplasty surgery, and if your happy with your dorsum, you can have a dedicated tip rhinoplasty, which is often a shorter operation with a faster recovery. Seek out a skilled rhinoplasty surgeon, who can advise you on the techniques they use to refine the alar cartilage to sculpt the tip.

Answer: Modifying the tip cartilages in a rhinoplasty addresses a wide tip to the nose. More ... The woman in the before and after photos that I posted with this answer had strong tip cartilages that gave her tip a wide appearance. The success of this operation depends on the strength of the tip cartilages (more strength better) and the thickness of the skin (very thick skin can put a limit on how much improvement is achieved). How *much* to narrow the tip, or make other changes that seem to make sense? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.) Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. It's much better to not have surgery than to have inexpertly-performed surgery. Read my essay on how to stay out of trouble while selecting a rhinoplasty surgeon. And it also discusses how to take photos that are best for online evaluations.

Answer: Rhinoplasty A "bulbous nasal tip" is a term we use when there is a lack of tip definition. The cause can be misshapen or a loss of form to the cartilage at the tip of the nose, nasal tip cartilage that is too widely spread apart, loss of nasal tip support, or even thick skin. The cause is usually a mixture of multiple anatomical variants, some of which tend to be genetic or based off your ancestry. If you are looking for more definition at the tip of your nose, a rhinoplasty is the procedure to obtain those results. I'd recommend making an appointment with a Facial Plastic Surgeon in your local area to discuss your concerns further.
