I have spent 10 years thinking into if i want to get a breast augmentation, and I do! however i have factor V parahemophlia and can only take amnicar or transamic acid (TXA) in a emergency. Is it too risky? Ive had an emergeny apendix surgery where they cut me 3.5in open and there was no problems with bleeding. I actually just found out i had factor V parahemophlia.
No problem. Your hematologist can support your surgeon if needed. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the...
I have had an online consultation with my plastic surgeon and set a surgery date. I know I am borderline needing a lift, but he assured me that implants alone would give me the look I’m after. Am I making a mistake by avoiding the lift? 5’7; 120 pounds; breastfed 3 kids
A lift would most likely be needed for your situation as your nipples are located below your breast fold and there is significant skin laxity.
I’m getting BA next month and I’m worried that a 375cc moderate profile silicone would be still small. I want it to be big that it covers my frame but not too big. I have one child and I pumped for 6 months. I use to be a 32c (small c), I would say I’m still about that size but they’re more gaps now. My breast base width is 12.5. And he told me the base of the 375cc moderate profile is 13cm. Would a 375cc cover my frame and bring me to a 32dd?
One of the easiest ways to determine whether the recommended size will achieve your desired result is to try on sizers. These are implants you can fit into your bra. Just make sure to bring a bra in the size you’d like to be.
I’m 34 years old and have never had any previous plastic surgery. I’m interested in achieving much larger, fuller breasts, but I prefer a natural look I don’t like when implants sit too high on the chest. I’m wondering if I would need only a breast augmentation or if a lift would also be required. I scar very easily, and my scars tend to fade poorly, so I’m concerned about the vertical scar that runs down the middle of the breast with a traditional lift. If a lift is necessary, are there alternative techniques that minimize visible scarring? Thank you for your time and guidance.
Your nipples appear to be sitting below your breast fold, therefore a lift would be recommended. Without one, the implants would sit low on your chest and you wouldn’t have upper pole fullness. The more popular incision placements for breast augmentation would leave a scar around your areola or within your breast fold. Therefore even with breast augmentation, scars are inevitable.
Im planning for surgery in feb and jusy want other opinion before my consult. My goals are a very natural augmention, and not too big (currently 30b). I want to know if getting motiva ergo 2s subfascial would look very augmented. i want to avoid UTM because i really dislike animation, and i have wider set chest. Im comsdierimg fat transfer as well but worried that it wont stay. Just want to hear about expierence with moderate profile OTM implants on less body fat.
The pendulum for augs swings back and forth regarding placement. It has been my experience that disrupting the breast to muscle ligaments in a thin women like yourself and placing the implants sub glandular/fascial leads to implants that can later sag and are more visible in the upper pole. If you went with small implants you may do better. If you want to go large I would ask you consider going under the muscle. Best of LuckDr. Jabs
I am 46 and delivered two kids via c-section. Im fair skinned and my scars fade to pale and dont show real well. I wanted lipo with abdominal etching and skinny BBL. As I have it perimenopause, i have lost by backside. One doctor recommended a tummy tuck, another recommended a mini tummy tuck, another a circular tummy tuck and another said he could do what I want with lipo. Which would you recommend?
Hello,Thank you for the question. From the photos, the two best options are a full extended TT or a body list (360 tuck). I wish you the best. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD, FACSDouble Board Certified Plastic SurgeonHouston, TX.
37 y.o with 2 C sections. I'm a very active person. I work out 5x a week. Tried everything just to get back close to my pre pregnancy body but I still have this extra fluff on my mid section. Wondering if I can get by with Lipo or it has to be tummy tuck?
My advice is to find a board certified plastic surgeon near you who performs a lot of tummy tucks. Schedule a consultation with them to discuss further. After taking a history from you, they will examine you, then discuss treatment options. Based on your history and the photographs you have submitted, you appear to be a good candidate for a combination of liposuction to remove unwanted fat and a tummy tuck, a procedure we call a "lipoabdominoplasty". Hope this helps. Good luck!
If just like to know opinions on whether I would need a full or mini tummy tuck I’ve had 4 children. My biggest concern is the stretch marks they are so ugly and it’s A little saggy at the bottom of stomach. I also hate my piercing scar I know that it wouldn’t be changed with a mini but I just don’t think I have enough skin for a full tummy tuck and can also get the belly button scar removed at a later date if I have mini
My advice is to find a board certified plastic surgeon near you who performs a lot of tummy tucks. Schedule a consultation with them. They will take a history from you, perform a physical exam, then discuss tummy tuck options including mini versus a full tummy tuck. Based on your history and pictures submitted, it looks to me that you would do better with a full versus a mini tummy tuck. This would have the advantage of removing more skin, achieving a greater degree of tightening as well as...
I want to feel confident again. I’ve had two rounds of a bbl. One in 2018 other in 2021. At this point I believe my buttocks is too big for my frame and unhappy with my tummy after having my son in 2023. I do Believe I have Fibrosis as well. I feel Like most of my excess skin is above my belly button. Any advice?
My best advice is to find a board certified plastic surgeon near you who performs a lot of tummy tucks and obtain a consultation. After taking your history and performing an examination, they can discuss options with you. Based on the photographs you have attached, it appears that you have some loose skin around and just above your belly button. A tummy tuck should be able to remove this loose skin and tighten the remaining skin on your abdomen. Most tummy tucks are performed through a low...
I was told by my surgeon that I don't need muscle repair. How can you tell before opening up? Based on my photos, does it look like I won't require muscle repair?
It is likely that your surgeon told you what they did based on your physical exam which showed the absence of diastasis recti, otherwise known as separation of he rectus abdominus muscles. Your photos also show that your rectus abdominus muscles appear to be in good shape so muscle repair may not be necessary. Good luck?
Had a bbl 8yrs ago now im on a weigtloss injection Is my butt fat safe on the weight loss journey?
Hello, thank you for your question.I'm afraid yes, it's possible to lose volume in your buttocks during your weight loss process. The fat will act like any other fat in your body. The amount you lose will depend on how much weight you lose and how your body naturally stores fat. Most people maintain some shape, but some volume loss is normal.Andaç Aykan, MD, Assoc. Prof.
Hi, I'm wondering if it would still look good if I only had Lipo 360 or would you recommend me to include a BBL ? and also do i need additional Lipo 360 if I choose to get BBL ?
Hello,Thank you for the question. Best on the shape of your body, I would recommend at least adding small volume of fat to your hip dips and buttock. You will still maintain your athletic look. I wish you the best. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD, FACSDouble Board Certified Plastic SurgeonHouston, TX.
Since 2000 Undetectable HIV 55yr old healthy Brown Female. Unable 2 recieve BBL with hips & fat transfer?
Hello, If you have Undetectable HIV and a good CD4 Count as well as normal Blood Test results and a Normal Cardiologist Evaluation, BBL with Fat from Hips and arm fat transfer is definitely possible. Jaime Caloca Jr., M.D.
Hello. My question is should I do TT or BBL first. I’ve had a few consultations and I’m getting different answers from each provider. I’m being told that I don’t have much fat to work with so being suggested BBL first (so they can harvest the fat). Then others are telling me to do TT first, wait 6 months and then address the bbl. I’m conflicted because if I’m being told I don’t have a lot of fat, then if I do TT first, how would I have an optimal BBL surgery. Lookimg for some educated opinions as I really want to have optimal results with both surgeries being done separately. Thank you.
I certainly understand the differing opinions that you have received. Their perspective is certainly valid. Based on the photos you submitted, a reasonable but aggressive option that some practices offer is combining the procedures you have described. Doing liposuction 360 with an extended abdominoplasty and BBL as a single procedure is an option at some surgical centers. If you find one where that is possible, I would recommend (as in most cases) to ensure that the facility is JCAHO or Quad...
I’m 5’2 120 pounds I have large flanks and a pooch.
Yes!!! You are a perfect candidate in my opinion. A BBL doesn’t always have to be about size. That said, there will still be a size increase in your case, though maybe not dramatic, it will be noticeable. But that is not a problem! Most importantly, there will also be an improved ratio between your butt, hips and waist making your entire body look better. So liposuction of your tummy, waist, flanks and back will certainly yield more then enough fat for great results. We can reduce the w...
hello doctors I’m thankful for you for taking from you time and answering us My question is when I can wear my glasses after Rhinoplasty? I can not wear contacts because I have dry eyes and my doctor recommended that contacts are not safe for me And my Rhinoplasty is soon Thank you
Hello, thanks for your question. Most patients need to avoid glasses for about 6 weeks so the nasal bones can heal without pressure. If you can’t use contacts, you can try wearing very light glasses so there won't be a lot of pressure on your nasal bone.Your surgeon will confirm the exact timeline for your case.Andaç Aykan, MD, Assoc. 41 year old female, droopy nasal tip that is also bifid. Do I have a significant dorsal hump? Can just a tip plasty fix my concerns?
Hello, thanks for your question as well as your photos. You do have a visible dorsal hump, and your tip is both droopy and separated (bifid). A tip only procedure would not correct the hump, and lifting the tip without smoothing the bridge would actually make the hump look more pronounced. To fix your main concerns, you would need a rhinoplasty that includes hump reduction plus tip refinement and rotation. This gives a smoother profile and corrects the droopy, bifid tip at the same time...
What would I need to have done to get me from this, to this? Nasal bridge reduction and nostril reduction? I don't have a problem with my side profile, I just want a smaller version if my nose.
Hello, thanks for your photos.Yes, an ethnic rhinoplasty can help your nose get a smaller, more refined version of your nose while keeping your natural features. Based on your front-view photos, the main areas to address would be narrowing the bridge, refining the tip and reducing nostril width if you want a slimmer, more defined front view.Andaç Aykan, MD, Assoc. Prof.
Hi, I’m 28 years old and was born with a cleft lip and palate. I had corrective surgeries as a baby, but I’m still left with a crooked nose, a noticeable scar, and a deviated septum. I’ve had a few consultations with doctors and I’m continuing to do more research to understand what options are available. I’m wondering if a rhinoplasty alone could help improve the symmetry and overall appearance of my nose, while also correcting the deviated septum. I’m also wondering if I should specifically look for a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty for adults with a history of cleft lip and palate, or if a surgeon who focuses on rhinoplasty alone would have the expertise to handle my case effectively. One doctor mentioned orthognathic surgery, but that seems very invasive, and I’d prefer to avoid it if possible. Any insight or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi, thank you for sharing your photos. After reviewing them, I can say that you show the typical pattern related to a cleft: nasal deviation, uneven nostrils, tip collapse on one side, and a deviated septum. A cleft rhinoplasty can greatly improve these problems, and in many cases, it can be performed without orthognathic surgery if your bite and jaw position are acceptable. A well-planned rhinoplasty can straighten the bridge, restore tip support, fix nostril asymmetry, and tackle...
I have a weirdly proportioned face and I’m worried that even if I get a rhinoplasty my face will still look bad or even look worse because of it. Would a rhinoplasty improve my facial harmony or should I be looking into other options?
Thank you very much for your question. Based on these photos, I can say that the dorsal hump, downward tip angle and length all draw attention to the center of the face and make the upper and lower thirds feel less balanced.A well-planned rhinoplasty will improve your harmony by softening the hump, lifting and refining the tip and reducing overall projection. These changes would help your features look more proportional without altering your natural character. In my opinion, you don’t n...
I wanted a mommy makeover am 48yo, however I'll have to put my dream makeover on hold for both hip and knee replacements, my question is will these joint replacements affect me getting a mommy makeover in the near future?
Hello,Thank you for the question. Once you recover fully from your hip and knee replacement surgeries, and you are back to full activity, it should not affect your mommy makeover surgery. I wish you the best. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD, FACSDouble Board Certified Plastic SurgeonHouston, TX.
I am 41 years old. I have 4 children. I now want to have some long awaited procedures: 1. Breast lift and implants (dual plane) 2. Abdominal liposuction 3. Upper blepharoplasty My questions: 1. Can this all be done at one time? 2. If so, would the recovery be manageable? 3. If not, what would your suggest? (e.g breasts and lipo done in one operating time and eyes done in another under local?) I am going overseas so it would be really useful to know the suggested time between each one. Thank you.
Combining procedures is common and considered safe but there are limits. Generally it's recommended that surgical time for elective plastic surgery be kept to under six hours of anesthesia time. This is for your safety and to optimize results. For the procedures that you mentioned this shouldn't be an issue as long as you are otherwise a good candidate and are generally healthy. I just got back from a physical with my doctor (not MM related), and he told me I've developed a heart murmur. Next week, I have to go in for a ecocolordoppler cardiaca and an ECG (I don't know what these are in English!). Will having developed this affect me being able to safely have my surgery? It's scheduled for August.
I encourage you when you go for your tests to speak to your cardiologist about your interest in a Mommy Makeover. Your surgeon will likely request clearance before proceeding with your scheduled surgery.
I had a Mommy Makeover (TT with Muscle repair, BA) on April 22. 3.5 weeks ago. I was supposed to start my period 7 days ago. Is it normal for my period to be late post op? Also my breasts have been extra painful the last few days so I'm wondering if this is a sign that something trying to happen. I just wonder if it is normal for disruption in menstral cycle, as I am usually very regular.
It's not uncommon to have your menstrual cycle thrown off a bit by a Mommy Makeover. Everything from the stress of surgery to medications your body is not used to can interrupt your normal cycle. If your cycle doesn't return to normal contact your OB/Gyn.
Currently, a vegan and eating healthy such soy, Boca, Morning star, Lightlife products. No process foods,no meats, or dairy. All laboratory tests are good such as CBC, CAT scan, blood pressure 105\65 but a slow heart rate and vitamin D deficiency.
I encourage you to begin by visiting with your primary care physician to discover the underlying cause for your bradycardia and Vitamin D deficiency. Some people have a slow heart beat related to regular cardio exercise and healthy living. Since your safety is always the priority it may be best to have it assessed first.
Black female. My surgeon stated a free nipple graft is required if I want to go down to a D cup, from my current G cup.
In order to preserve the blood flow to the nipple and areola, surgeons have to the blood vessels intact along a "pedicle." There are a number of different pedicles that can be used to do that, but some of the pedicle have a more robust blood supply than others. I would agree that preserving the blood flow to the nipple-areolar complex, in your case, would be difficult using a superiorly-based pedicle. Using a superiorly-based pedicle and trying to go from a G to a D would be challenging, so...
I have a lump in my breast - not sure if it is cancer. However I was wanting a breast reduction/lift and possible implants. Can a benign lump be removed during plastic surgery?
You will first want to visit with the physician you see for breast health to verify that the lump is benign. A benign lump can sometimes be removed at the time of a breast reduction depending on the size and nature of the mass. See your board certified plastic surgeon to learn more.
I first started thinking about a breast reduction around 3 years ago but I only recently decided that I actually want one. I have really bad shoulder and back pain, I have for a while, but I don’t know if it’s actually from my breast weight. I gain and lose weight really often but right now I am around 180 pounds.
It's best to be as close to your ideal weight as possible and able to maintain it when considering a breast reduction. Some women will notice changes in their breasts with weight loss or gain so it is best to have your weight stable before surgery. Big fluctuations in your weight in the future could impact your surgical results. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
20 years old with D+ cups since the 8th grade, been a 32DDD since I stopped growing a few years ago. 115-120 lbs and 5’3”. I have back pain, shoulder pain, & moderate to severe migraines attributed to shoulder pain. I haven't talk to a doctor (not sure who to talk to) but I am short with a 27” waist so uncomfortabley disproportionate and I experience pain daily. Am I a good candidate? How should I proceed? I am nervous about the process overall
From your description you sound like a good candidate for a breast reduction. This surgery will remove excess skin and tissue to bring your breasts into better balance with your frame. A lift is also part of this procedure so your nipples will be raised to the correct position aesthetically. Your board certified plastic surgeon can assist you in deciding the correct size for you. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
Hey, so Im sharing a pic because Ive noticed my boobs look a bit uneven and its kinda bugging me. I cant tell if its just my posture or maybe I hunch way more than I realize, or if having heavier breasts over the years just kinda pulled things in diff directions. Im also thinking about getting a reduction and I keep wondering if that would help the assymetry or just make it more noticeable. Just looking for honest thoughts from other women who’ve been thru this and what your experience was.
From the photo you do have some asymmetry in volume and ptosis (sagging). This is not uncommon but a a reduction will improve this. A breast reduction will remove excess skin and tissue as well as lift the position of the nipple. Your surgeon can address the discrepancies to bring the breasts into better symmetry. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
Hi i have a consultation in January and really hoping i can just have implants as a lift here is very expensive. Id like to go for 400cc plus. Thats my goal.
Implants are centred behind the nipples so without a lift, yours would sit rather low on your chest and provide no fullness in the upper pole.
Will implants only help fill out upper breast , when in standing position they dont bother me much but when laying down the top is like a flat tire and skin ripples. I dont want scars or the price of two procedures.
Thank you for your inquiry. We would love to sit down with you and discuss your goals. Schedule a consultation with a Board Certified Surgeon.
I'm 4'11, approx 97 lbs. Bra size is a 34b, with space in the top of the bra. I am planning on getting a full anchor lift and implants. My bwd from 1 surgeon is 10.5, and another surgeon was 9.5. My surgeon recommended a HP implant, but the projection freaked me out a bit when I tried on the sizer. My goal photos are attached here. I'm looking for a full B cup, A "c" cup would feel too big. My biggest worry is the implants not sitting high enough, and "ball on chest" look. Looking at 150-200cc.
Thank you for your inquiry. We would love to sit down with you and discuss your goals. The best way is to try on multiple sizes/styles of breast implants with a sports bra during a consultation. Schedule a consultation with a Board Certified Surgeon.
37 years old , 135 pounds , 5”6 in height , two children no breastfeeding . Fluctuated in weights over the years . Back to my normal weight before kids now at 135 Pounds .
Thanks for your question. Based on your pictures, it seems you would be a good candidate for a breast lift with implants for optimal results. However, an in-person evaluation would be best to determine a tailored plan for your breast enhancement. I suggest scheduling a consult for a proper evaluation. Be sure to always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Dr. Salama, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
Hello, I would like to know whether my breasts are tuberous or not. If so, what severity are they? Or are they just small? I think the areola’s seem large in comparison to the size of the breast. I have noticed that the areola sits at the bottom of the breast and that there is little to no “underboob” breast tissue. I have also not the lack of upper pole fullness and no cleavage unless I was to really really push them together. They seem quite wide set and there is some asymmetry as well. They seem to be sideways shaped as well- they appear to “swoop” down from a side crease near my armpit. When I lean sideways the breast tissue seems to go round my side and almost become a backroll. When my nipples are hard, they look more conventional, but when my nipples are soft, the areola looks big and very soft/puffy. Do I have insufficent glandular tissue? What are my options if I embark upon surgery and if I wanted a much larger size, but natural looking? I am a 21F, 5ft 3”, approx. 66kg. Thank you.
Tuberous breast is not, technically speaking, a "yes" or "no" question. There can be different points on the continuum. The typical hallmarks include a high, tight fold with "puffy" or distended areola, minimal breast tissue and potentially herniation of the breast tissue through a tightened ring thus the "tuberous" label. It is a congenital deformity which usually manifests at puberty. To what degree it manifests will vary from one patient to the next. Treatment of tuberous breasts varies...
39 male here. Lost a little weight, but also just feeling that I look tired. I’d like to address my eye hollows but am unsure if a lower bleph would be appropriate for me, generally, or if I was a good candidate if dermal fillers yield a better result. Thank you all very much for your time .
Great question! It looks like (although hard to tell given no true lateral view) that you might have what is called a negative vector, which is where your cheek is recessed compared to your eye. What would help best in that situation is a small implant to correct that deficiency, +/- bleph depending on what the exam shows for fat/skin excess and correction of the tear trough.
I underwent CO2 laser resurfacing on the lower eyelid/cheek area approximately three weeks ago, and I am seeing promising initial results. I am now interested in receiving an evaluation by a plastic surgeon for a lower blepharoplasty. I wanted to know the standard waiting period or required healing time that must pass after CO2 laser treatment before I would be considered eligible for the blepharoplasty procedure. Thank you!
If your concern is primarily excess fat and lower lid bags, and you have little to no excess skin and tight lower lids, you may only require a fat removal/repositioning to achieve the results you want and you could get evaluated any time for that. If you need any skin excised or the lid tightened with a canthoplasty/pexy, I would wait a minimum of 3 months before surgery. You could always present for a consultation and plan around a future surgery date. Remember, it takes time for the...
I had an upper bleph about a year ago and my eyes definitely look better. I had a facelift done about 6 weeks ago and therefore, have been taking more selfies and scrutinizing my face more than I usually would. I obviously have some pretty severe asymmetry post-bleph -- I knew this, but now I REALLY can see it. What I don't understand is -- was there too much taken out of the one side, or not enough out of the other side? Like is this fixable and if yes, what is the procedure to correct? Also, what is the rcovery for a bleph revison like? Is it worse than the original?
Blepharoplasty, especially revision cases, really require a detailed exam to determine the best treatment. Your left eye appears to have more skin that needs removed to make that component symmetric, but also you appear to have less volume and a mild “A” frame deformity. I believe you would require some fat grafting to restore some of this volume to achieve symmetry and make a more youthful appearance. Again, a good examination would give more information on what exactly would be req...
I recently had an endoscopic ponytail lift combined with a lower bleph and canthoplasty. I noticed there is excess skin on the upper outer lid. What procedure would be best suitable to address the excess of skin?
Thank you for your inquiry! We would love to sit down with you to discuss your concerns. Blepharoplasty will remove excess skin and fat pads. Schedule a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to help you reach your goals.
I’m only 32 and have noticed these shadows and puffiness under my eyes ever since getting juvederm filler a couple years ago. I have since had it removed but the puffiness persists. These shadows make me look so tired all the time- what could be done to correct this? I have Done a round of Morpheus 8 in hopes to tighten the area but didn’t see a difference. Thanks in advance for your professional advice!
From the photo, the puffiness and shadowing under your eyes appear to be caused by a combination of mild under-eye fat protrusion and volume deficiency along the tear trough. When these two features overlap, they can create a persistent “tired” look even after filler is dissolved. In cases like this, the most effective and long-lasting option is typically a lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning, which smooths the transition between the lower eyelid and the cheek. This procedure add...
After dealing with borderline ovarian tumors, and the resulting surgeries,my face has decided to definitely shift south. I resemble more a Shar-Pei than myself! At 67 have I waited too long and what should I do?
Congratulations on being finished with treating your tumors! In short, based off of the photo, I recommend a face and neck lift, and you likely would benefit from a temporal brow lift as well. I would also recommend skin resurfacing, lip lift, and volume enhancement with your own fat if you have any donor sites, or another volume source like Renuva or HA fillers. Best of luck!
Is there anything wrong with getting a fat transfer AFTER a deep plane facelift? My concern is doing the fat transfer at the same time will cause additional pain and a longer recovery time.
This is a thoughtful question, and it’s reasonable to wonder about timing and recovery when combining procedures. In general, fat grafting can be done either at the same time as a deep plane facelift (more common) or as a staged procedure afterward. Both approaches are reasonable, and the decision depends on your facial anatomy, aesthetic goals, and ideal recovery timeline/expected downtime. Doing the fat transfer at the same time does not necessarily make recovery significantly longer w...
I underwent facial fat grafting one week ago, during which approximately 50 cc of fat was injected into my cheeks, temples, and nasolabial regions. As a result, my midface currently appears excessively full, and I am concerned that much of this volume may persist due to the large amount of fat that has been used. My main aesthetic concern is the laxity of my lower face and neck, including sagging along the jawline (jowls) and the presence of submental fullness (double chin). I am interested in a lower facelift to achieve better definition and tightening in this area. However, I am worried that a lower facelift could potentially make my lower face appear too narrow relative to my overfilled cheeks, resulting in an unbalanced or triangular facial shape. I would appreciate your assessment regarding candidacy and optimal timing for a lower facelift, given my recent fat grafting procedure.
These are thoughtful concerns. The healing timeline and eventual results of fat grafting depend on how the fat was harvested, processed, and injected, how much of it was placed in each facial area, and the anatomical plane it was placed in. That being said, it's not uncommon for the cheeks and midface to look overly full just one week after facial fat grafting because some amount of swelling would be expected. It can sometimes take a few weeks to months for the final facial proportions to...
I have asymmetry and laxity in my midface. The sagging on my right side is much more pronounced than the left and I'm wondering what my options are regarding a lift or fat transfer. I'd prefer to go a minimally invasive route that doesn't require extensive downtime (extensive meaning i can present in public within 2-4 weeks of the procedure...assuming such a procedure exists). I'm leaning toward a surgical option, as I'm not fond of fillers or threads. My skin quality is great, my issue pertains more to volume and structure.
Based on a one posted side view photo, which is not that helpful I would recommend virtual consultation for better understanding in general terms. I would recommend a mini face neck lift with mass replication with Endo and nano fat grafting. Fees range from $10,000-$20,000.. Best of virtual concert with.
I am a 41 year old female. I‘m 5’2 and weigh 140lbs. I’m noticing in the past 5 years my face seems to be getting more square with jowling. I’ve tried massater Botox and a Nefertiti lift but it hasn’t taken care of the jowling. I’m considering whether I would be a candidate for a mini facelift?
Based on your series of post photos, I agree you need a mini face necklace with SMAS COMPLICATION ALONG WITH ENDO LASER TREATMENT FEE RANGE FROM $5000-$10,000. BEST OF VIRTUAL CONSULT WITH.
31/f. I've had liposuction twice to transfer fat to my face. I was considering in the future maybe either a BBL or fat transfer to the breast, but im wondering - is there a limit to how many times in a persons life they can get lipo?
No there is no limit to how many times you can have liposuction. With each surgery you will need to be evaluated from a candidacy standpoint. Are you in good health? Are you a good candidate for the procedure that interests you? Will the procedure produce results that are in line with your surgical goals? If liposuction is done repeatedly on the same areas you do increase risk of issues such as contour irregularities. Your board certified plastic surgeon will help you determine if the...
I don’t want to get a tummy tuck just yet since I plan to have kids in the future. What really bothers me right now is the shape of my belly button — I feel like it makes my stomach look even fuller than it actually is. If my belly button looked rounder and less “frowny,” I think my midsection would appear slimmer overall. When I stand in front of the mirror and gently push in or pull down the lower belly fat that sits around my belly button, the shape becomes much rounder and more balanced. Because of that, I’m wondering if it would be possible to do a very small, targeted liposuction in that specific area to help improve the shape. I don’t want full lower abdominal liposuction, since my doctor mentioned it could lead to loose skin and that a tummy tuck would be a better option for that. But at this point in my life, I’d prefer to avoid a tummy tuck and explore smaller, less invasive options to improve the area instead.
Yes it is possible to target a small area to remove a pocket of fat. The area in question appears small enough that the procedure could be performed with local anesthesia. The question is if doing so would give you the result that you want. Hi. I am a 39 year old mom of 2. I am unhappy with my muffin top/ love handles and would like my stomach to be a little tighter. I feel I have a bit of a pouch where it looks like I could be 2 months pregnant. I am not sure if I have diastasis recti, do you think I do? Would you recommend lipo to flanks and that's enough? Or lipo to abdomen as well? One surgeon recommended vaser lipo and renuvion to the abdomen while another said it would come out ripply and would not recommend lipo on the abdomen. Another recommended a mini tummy tuck. It's such a big decision. I am overwhelmed. I workout 5 times a week and eat pretty clean, I take good care of myself. I do like my stomach but of course if I am doing one thing, I might as well fine tune a little bit. My muffin top is my biggest enemy. Any advice and professional opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance,
From the photos it does appear you would be a good candidate for liposuction of the hips/flanks to address your concerns. An exam is best to determine if you have abdominal muscle separation. If so then a tummy tuck would be recommended to repair it, which would also remove excess skin and subcutaneous fat. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.
I’ve always been insecure about the shape of my hips. I would like a more rounded silhouette seen in a classic hourglass. I’ve never had the look I want even at my lowest weight (bmi<18). Don’t like how it looks in clothing. The areas seen in the pic are pinchable areas of fat. Not sure if it’s ‘hip dips’ or love handles and what the procedure that would give me best results would be. I also don’t like my back rolls seen in the last pic but it doesn’t bother me nearly as much as my hips.
From the included photos you appear to be a good candidate for sculpting with liposuction. Both areas of concern could be safely addressed at the same time. The best place to begin is a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you. During this visit you can discuss your goals in detail and learn more about the procedure and what you can expect in terms of results. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
I am relatively thin and muscular but have stubborn areas, one being my flanks. the only time my flanks have been smaller was when I was extremely underweight. I am happy with my body right now except for my flanks and I’m at a maintainable healthy weight. I was wondering if any surgeon would consider lipo for my flanks or if the low fat content makes it riskier for bumpy skin/complications afterwards? I do NOT want the rib bending procedure for a snatched waist lol
From the photos you are healthy with an athletic shape and minimal excess subcutaneous fat. Liposuction may help to give you a conservative improvement but the result will not likely be as significant as demonstrated in your photo. I encourage you to begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to learn more.
