Some people are prone to hyperpigmentation due to their skin type and tone (darker or tan skin tones are more likely to hyperpigment). These areas can take years to resolve and may not go away completely. You should be very cautious with sclerotherapy for your leg veins because you may end up with hyperpigmentation over the closed veins and injection sites. I recommend trying a patch test somewhere that is less noticeable. You may also want to go somewhere that offers glycerin injections as that seems to cause less hyperpigmentation than Polidocanol or Sotradecol.
