Glycolic Acid for Cellulite Treatment?

Glycolic acid is known to increase cell turnover and increase collagen production. Due to it's Collagen production properties, can it be used to improve cellulite? Alternatively, can Hyaluronic acid be used for this purpose?

Topical and Over-the-Counter Creams Treating Cellulite

There are a large number of over-the-counter topical #creams and lotions that are sold with claim of “cellulite reduction”. Generally, the efficacy of these creams are minimal to modest and are #temporary in nature. There is little #evidence proving many  work well and for how long.  Their apparent effect on cellulite may be due to #narrowing blood vessels and forcing water from the skin, which could be dangerous for people with #circulatory problems. Cellulite creams are described to dissolve fat and smooth the skin. But, there is no scientific evidence that these creams are effective against #cellulite, and for some people, they can be harmful. Many cellulite #creams contain #aminophylline, a prescription drug approved for treating asthma, cause #vasodilation and increased blood flow to the cellulite.  Aminophylline in larger doses can also cause an allergic reaction in some people. These products rarely result in long term cellulite reduction, but perhaps  a short term improvement in appearance. Or used best in conjuction with professional #clinical high energy devices by a board-certified plastic surgeon. Clinical treatments offer the most effective and longest lasting results.  We can now offer improvements that should last at least 2-3 years and recommend three different procedures: #ThermiSmooth, #VelaShape 3, and #Cellfina. Seek more information to learn if you are candidate for these treatments or a combination of such by consulting with a board-certified Plastic Surgeon.

Effective cellulite treatment

I recommend you learn more about Cellulaze - the FDA approved one time definitive treatment for cellulite.  Cellulaze utilizes a 1440 nm wavelength laser to accomplish 3 things:  1) melt away fat bulging out 2) break up fibrous septae (attachments) that create the indentations and 3) help thicken the dermis (skin) to prevent future recurrence.   The procedure can take between 60-90 minutes and can be completed under local or just IV sedation (depending on the length of your procedure and number of areas being treated). To see your final results takes between 3-6 months. You can visit the cellulaze . com website to learn more about the procedure. Best of luck!

Cellulaze Best for Cellulite Reduction

Cellulaze is the only minimally invasive laser procedure designed to attack the structure of cellulite beneath your skin. It delivers longer-lasting results after only one short treatment. It is the first and only cellulite laser treatment that treats the actual problems underneath the skin to deliver a proven longer-lasting result from just one simple treatment. Cellulaze is backed by many years of clinical research. Studies have shown it increases the thickness of your skin by 25% and the elasticity of your skin by 29%—significant claims that haven't been made by any other treatments. Thicker and more elastic skin can help flatten and smooth the skin surface to improve the appearance of cellulite. In addition, 93% of patients surveyed were satisfied or very satisfied with their results at one year post their procedure, and all would recommend the Cellulaze cellulite laser treatment to a friend.
