We recommend to our patients that they need someone to pick them up from the office and drive them home and a responsible adult needs to remain with them overnight.  Anesthesia medications affect everyone differently.  You may think you are fine but you aren't.  Your safety is very important so we would recommend not driving for 24 hours after having anesthesia and if you are taking post-op pain medication we recommend not driving while under the influence of the medicine.
