I have like five consultations set up to speak to a surgeon about augmentation and a lift. I really would love to avoid the lift because of the scars, but I do have some sag. It's mostly from loosing 60lbs 15 years ago, I don't think the girls look too different from 23 t 37. I am okay with a natural amount of droop to them when complete. I certainly want more projections and maybe a lift and aug is the only way to get the dream end result. I have very mild ptotis (like the edge of being a 1). What kind of results can I expect if I opted for only implants?

Answer

46 healthy female, 5ft 1, 125 pounds. I’m interested in more upper pole volume, moderate size increase of 1 cup and minimal downtime. With the degree of ptosis that i have will I need mastopexy in addition to augmentation? TIA

Answer

Hi, it’s been exactly 12 months since I had my breast augmentation, 455cc under the muscle- the left side I love, it’s dropped and fluffed beautifully. But the right side feels tighter, appears more high riding still. There’s more distortion to it when I flex the muscle, i can feel it a lot more whereas the left one feels like it’s always been there. The right side also looks and feels more towards the side. I spoke to my surgeon once he said it’s fine but I’m not fully convinced

I’m a 50-year-old woman, 5’2” and currently 140 lb after losing about 68 lb. I have another 10–15 lb to lose before reaching my goal. I feel good physically, I’ve worked hard to get healthy, and I want my body to reflect that. The sagging abdominal skin, stubborn fat and urinary incontinence are affecting my self-esteem. The incontinence has become worse since losing weight. I also suspect some abdominal muscle separation, although this hasn’t been formally diagnosed. I had an ischemic stroke at 46. My right internal carotid artery is completely blocked, with good collateral circulation. I have no other known heart or vascular conditions. My blood pressure is optimal and my cholesterol is within the normal range. I take Plavix and ASA 81 mg for life, along with long-term Repatha and Zepbound. Could someone with my history still be considered for a tummy tuck once their weight is stable? If muscle repair is needed, could it potentially help with the incontinence? I understand that nobody can determine my candidacy online, but I’d appreciate honest, general opinions about whether there is a realistic possibility for someone with my history.

Answer

I’m 23 years old and currently considering getting a tummy tuck, but I’m feeling very nervous and want to make sure I’m making the right decision. I’ve done a lot of research and I’m interested in traveling abroad for the procedure, possibly to the Dominican Republic. I’m looking for a surgeon with a strong safety record, good communication, and great results. My main concerns are: * Am I too young for a tummy tuck at 23? * What are the most important things I should look for when choosing a surgeon/clinic abroad? * What questions should I ask during a consultation? * What are the biggest risks or things you wish you knew before getting a tummy tuck? * Would you recommend waiting, or is it reasonable to move forward if I’m confident in my decision? I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had a tummy tuck, especially at a younger age or who traveled internationally for surgery. I’m also nervous about dying or if something goes wrong

Is it safe to return to full-intensity running 5.5 weeks after functional rhinoplasty with cartilage grafting? I’m planning to undergo functional rhinoplasty with cartilage grafting to correct nasal valve collapse, without any nasal bone fractures or repositioning. I’m a professional referee and may need to return to full-intensity running, including repeated sprints and quick changes of direction, approximately 5.5 weeks after surgery. I would only be officiating two games before having another two months without strenuous activity. Assuming there is no direct trauma to my nose, would returning to intense running at 5.5 weeks risk compromising the structural integrity or positioning of the cartilage graft, or would the primary concerns be temporary swelling and bleeding?

Answer

Hi, I got a closed rhinoplasty 3 years ago. I have been contemplating more and more about a revision because I am not too happy with my results. I knew I had thick skin, so the refining of the tip would be hard, but it is extremely bulbous. Moreover, I feel as though my nose has become more lopsided and I have a very prominent bump (bone callous maybe) on one side that sticks out. Do I need a revision?

Answer

I noticed a small lump on the tip of the nose that started to emerge at around six months post primary rhinoplasty. It is only becoming more pronounced & lighter in color. Surgery was done by a top facial plastic surgeon in NYC, and results seemed amazing at first. Currently at about 15 months post op and it’s only become more glaring. It litteraly breaks my heart. Kindly advise and thank you so much for taking the time to respond.

I was approved for $13,500 in financing . Care Credit ($7000) & Alpheaon Credit ($6500). I’ve been speaking with places and they stated they wanted a cash deposit to hold my spot & that I couldn’t use any of my financing . I was just curious is that common or or are there some places that except the financing for the surgery and the deposit ?

I am 31 year old male, current weight 180lbs and I have lost 30lbs recently and prior weight loss of 50lbs about 10 Years ago. I’ve lost volume in my butt and it’s become somewhat loose and squishy, I have been thinking about surgery for my abdomen and chest for many years but now I am considering this also. I’m not looking for a major change but I’m thinking a little more volume is what I’m looking for. Would this be recommended doing with some abdomen and chest work? What would be the best route for my abdomen and chest? I am in Arizona and have not had any consultations.

Answer

Mommy makeover including tummy tuck , muscle repairs , lipo , breast lift . They say it is 10 hours surgery does this sound correct ? Is this too many procedures in one operation ? It seems like a long time to be under ? The surgery in Bali Indonesia .

Answer

Based on what others say here, a mommy makeover can be very expensive. Do all doctors that offer mommy makeovers provide financing options? Will they agree to payment installments over time on a credit card? what are other ways people afford it!

Answer

I’m 25 years old, 5’3”, around 179 lbs, and currently wear approximately a 38H. I’m pursuing a medically necessary breast reduction because of back/shoulder discomfort and other symptoms from having large breasts. My insurance (Aetna) is requiring my surgeon to remove approximately 1,000 grams from EACH breast for coverage. My previous surgeon felt that amount was more than she wanted to remove and estimated closer to 700 grams per breast. I would personally be comfortable with a significant reduction and would ideally like to end up around a B/C cup rather than a D. I understand cup size cannot be guaranteed. For someone with my height, weight, and starting breast size, is a 1,000-gram reduction from each breast generally feasible while still maintaining a natural breast shape? Would I likely still have a reasonable amount of breast tissue remaining? Are there additional concerns with nipple/blood supply or complications when removing this amount? I’m getting another consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon and would like to understand whether the 1,000-gram requirement itself is unusually aggressive for someone my size.

Answer

I am struggling to explain what I am wanting during my consultations. I am currently a DD and would prefer to be a C cup. However, I would also like fullness in the upper breast and don’t want to have to rely on a bra for cleavage. So, I want to be approximately a C—but I don’t want the deflated upper-pole appearance I see in many reductions. I want noticeable upper-pole fullness and projection, while still having a natural breast position and contour. I don’t want them sitting excessively high or looking large or obviously implanted. Is this even a possibility? Many consults have told me that a lift with implants defeats the purpose and I 100% understand that too. I am 49 yo, healthy female. Please help!

I am recovering from a fractured jaw 3 months ago and want to get Botox in my forehead and marionette lines and lip fillers. Is this safe at this stage of fracture healing ?

Answer

Hi there! 26 year old female. I love the facial slimming I get from masseter Botox, but I’ve developed increasing jowls, marionette lines, and a more hollow/indented appearance above my jaw. I’m wondering whether there is a way to maintain masseter slimming without worsening these changes. My treatment history: * First treatment: 40 units total — I loved the result. * 4.5 months later: Just 20 units total because I was worried about jowling, but this didn’t noticeably reduce my masseters. * 2 months later: 40 units total + Nefertiti lift along the jawline — this is when I began noticing jowling and marionette lines. * 3 months later: 40 units total + another Nefertiti lift along the jawline — afterward, the jowling and marionette lines became significantly worse. Now my face looks considerably more gaunt, followed by a noticeable indentation/hollow area and then a bulkier, sagging lower face around my jaw. Before these treatments, my cheeks looked much fuller and I did not have these jowls or prominent marionette lines. I love the narrower face I originally achieved with masseter Botox, but I don’t want the hollow cheeks, jowls, and marionette lines. Is there a way to continue maintaining small masseters without causing this sagging? And if not, what can I do to fix this while continuing Masseter Botox? I’d prefer more long-term, reliable solutions rather than temporary ones like filler (for example)

Answer

Current Stats - 34AA/AAA with minimal breast tissue. Breast width is 13.5. Height and weight is 5'7 and 127lbs. During the consultation I was able to try on sizers and I ultimately gravitated towards the look of the Motiva mini 400cc round implant just because the side profile of the breast looked wider/taller compared to the other sizers they had me try on. I do not want my implants to look like two balls stuck on a flat washboard and I am fearful that the implants will be pushed towards the outer sides of my chest, giving that huge gap in the middle. If I did want more projection, I'm assuming that I would have to get a larger volume implant to get that same implant diameter, correct? Is a higher profile going to give me that washboard and two balls look?

Answer

Had a breast aug just over a year ago, a couple months ago I noticed that when I bend over I get an uncomfortable pressure in my right breast. No pain or discomfort any other time. Have been to a regular doctor and they didn’t feel anything out of rhe ordinary. Unfortunately my surgeon is on the other side of the country from me but thinking about making an appointment with a surgeon here to look at it if needed. Wondering if anyone has heard of this before and what coukd be causing it. Do not have the same feeling on the other side. I go to the gym and lift 5 days a week (heavy lift) and have no pain or discomfort during that, only when I bend over I feel this pressure. 625ccs under the muscle, I am 6’1 and 175lbs

Answer

I F36 5.3 feet(160 cm), 127 pounds (57 kg) have low body fat and high muscle mass (not body builder). I discussed sizing and procedures with my surgeon and surgery is booked in less than 10 days. I am still dwelling between Motiva Ergonomix 2 or round implants. The sizing we discussed is Demi projection and 285 CC placed over the muscle as I love to live a very active lifestyle. I feel my breast’s are pointy and I’m wondering if rounds will look good with this type of breast? The surgeon said that Ergonomix would help the nipples move more upwards. I am also getting a lift at the right breast. I also heard that the round shape will give less of a risk of rippling. The surgeon can do fat transfer but says o have too little to do this.

Answer

Hi! I have originally thought 310 cc. Doing Natrelle soft touch, moderate profile. Stats: 5’2, 105 lbs, 14 breast width diameter, breastfed 3 babies. Currently a deflated 32A if that. No volume on the top..pretty flat, slight volume on the bottom. Wondering now with my BWD if I should be doing a 330 or 345? Any advice! TIA

Answer

I had a breast reduction over a year ago through insurance and about 400 grams was removed from each breast. I terribly miss the size and regret the reduction. If i get 425 cc implants will they be the same size as before? do grams of fat and cc of implants correlate in that way?

Answer

I am 62 years old. I have been active all my life, sports, bit of. daredevil and a desk job, and as a result I paid the price. Never obese. My uniform weight loss throuout my body had been running. Past 14 years, I had series of leg surgeries to my non-dominant leg, changin my lifestyle. No running. And vicious cycle- surgery, PT, fat, surgery... My muscles turned to fat, and accumulated fat. I had my final surgery TKR and trekked to the Andes—for the first time in a long time. I have strong muscles but I saw sagging of skin even if I did 100 crunches. Enter Tummy tuck. Wearing my old size 6 was terrific. Since I maintained my weight though exercises, and running, I never really saw my backside- never had to, but after plastic surgery, I saw how my body had changed. While I expect that my spine and other areas of my extreme sports will eventually take a toll, I don’t like the way my entire backside looks. It’s fat, and I cannot lose weight around brarolls ( term I found out recently), my back, my upper arms. I can still wear size 6 or 8 on top but b/c it is combination of fat and skin lax, clothes do not fit well. I saw 360 liposuction and it looks enticing. I consulted one excellent surgeon in US, and he advised that liposuction alone is not the issue for me, it is the excess skin I have. And there is a trade off- a large scar that is unsightly scar of the back will not look good with backless dresses. And surgery to the back do need more care.

Answer

I’d say as of now, I store around 30-35% of my body fat around my abdominal and flank area, and around 60% in my lower body, with my upper body being quite small. I am thinking of having lipo to my abdominal and flank area. I am at a very healthy weight aat the moment but have stubborn areas. Since I tend to store abdominal fat, does that mean after lipo, if I hypothetically gain weight as I age it will be stored as visceral fat? How does the visceral fat increase work? Or would it still remain subcutaneous, just stored in other areas?
