Hello and thank you for your question and the picture. From what I can see, your nasal tip looks a little asymmetric and bulbous (poorly defined). Addressing the shape of your nose (especially the nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (particularly the tip)! This truly is a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in male rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading male rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with male rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps!Dr. Donald GrovesAesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Your nose is a direct reflection of your ethnic background, which, in itself is related to the genetic make up in heritage of both your parents.Without more information, we can’t really tell you, but my best guess is that you have Middle Eastern or North African heritage. Individuals from this part of the world sometimes have a slightly larger projecting nose with significant fullness of the nasal dorsum. There’s no needed operation unless you want to change your nasal appearance.During consultations for rhinoplasty surgery, most plastic surgeons look for individuals who have a clear understanding of the changes they want to undergo. Unless you have a clear understanding of the changes, you desire in your nose, you may want to consider avoiding permanent irreversible facial Aesthetic surgery for now.Individuals with excessively large noses, sometimes have a desire for reducing the size of the nose. This is sometimes referred to as a reduction rhinoplasty.Rhinoplasty surgery is a spectrum of many different operations. Plastic surgeons usually subdivide the nose into different subunits and we usually address each of the sub units differently. You can always have a few in person, consultations with plastic surgeons in your community to see what they have to say.Generally speaking patient should avoid surgical intervention unless there’s a clear indication for it.Best,Mats hagstrom, MD
