Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, that is a very minor indentation. You could try a small microdroplet of filler or a surgical solution would be placing a small amount of mastoid fascia. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Answer: REVISION RHINOPLASTY QUESTIONS Thanks for your question. A small dent at the nasal tip after rhinoplasty is not uncommon and may result from cartilage irregularities, scar tissue, or loss of structural support in that area. The slight redness suggests possible thin skin or minor irritation, but this can often improve over time. Correction options depend on the cause: Minor dents may improve with steroid injections (if scar tissue is the issue) or filler for temporary smoothing. If it's due to cartilage irregularity or collapse, a minor revision surgery using cartilage grafts (often from the septum or ear) may be needed. A detailed exam by a board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon will determine the best course.
