I had a MMO 1/14/25. Recovery was easy with minimal issues other than spitting sutures. I rejected almost all, including thicker deep sutures. Before rejecting, they would get infected looking spots that I could lightly press on, and they would open with puss coming out. I'd clean them up, and within a few hours, the Stitch would come out, and it would clear up. I kept a good eye on all of my incisions, so I was able to catch it quick because some of them would just open up on their own and I would have a big hole. I cleaned it up and put a steri strip over it so it was still getting air and everything but being held together so it wouldn't open further. At one point under one of my breasts, they weren't opening/draining, but were really warm, red, and inflamed with puss underneath the skin, so I had to request antibiotics. Now to my questions with ext brachioplasty. Since HS affects the armpit, I am more concerned about stitches rejecting, and infection. Can an ext brachioplasty be performed without dissolvable sutures? Can it be done with glue and tape? I have seen a few with staples but not often, and they've said it was painful with staples, so I don't really want that. I've also seen a few with plastic Clips over the incision but I don't know what they were called or where I saw those, so I don't know what to ask for that. I am not sure if regular sutures would reduce the issue of spitting, or if I could avoid sutures all together?

Based off your photos - (without an examine) I agree, more skin can be removed based off your current 9 month photo. The question is will the numbness come back as you get closer to the 1 year and more mark or will it stay about the same (difficult to assess - if there's no nerve issues - this...
