but we can give you something orally to help with nerves. It is a very minimally invasive procedure, using local anesthesia, in an office setting. In special cases, the procedure can be done under general or IV sedation, but this is rare and much more expensive for the patient. Plus, who wants to be asleep when a doctor has your manhood literally in his hands?
No Nap time
So, the vasectomy offered in our practice is quick, no scalpel and no needle so requires no sedation. You can drive yourself to and from the procedure that day. We offer The Weekend Vasectomy Clinic for convenience which allows you to be in and out of the office and allows for a few days to relax before going back to work.
