In our practice and I’m sure every practice has their own way of treating acne scars. We have laser treatments and or a mini facelift to stretch out the skin. We have Profractional laser treatment and micro laser peels. Those procedures will improve your acne scars dramatically.

Topicals like hydroquinone, retin A, and hydrocortisone in combination can help. chemical peels in grades of strength can also help. Then I would proceed to intense pulse light or other lasers. You can then consider laser resurfacing.

Although it may not seem so, this is a difficult problem to treat.  You can try a bleaching cream with at least a 4% Hydroquinone with or without other ingredients such as Tretinoic acid or Kogic acid.  A Yag laser might also be helpful.  Sunscreen is a must at all times.
