On average, how many weeks do you typically tell clients that are Flight Attendants to wait before returning to work? Job duties include closing overhead bins, pushing and pulling large carts, having to lift 50-70lbs of personal luggage into overhead bins on some aircraft, setting down and picking up trays from service (extending body to reach over some seats). Additionally, what limitations on flight time or duration do you typically impose on patients post-op? Procedure is primary breast augmentation, dual plane and simultaneous nipple/areola correction. Using Motiva Ergonomix 2 implants, size undecided but likely 400-450cc And of course, “always discuss with your surgeon”, which I will do of course, but I’m trying to gauge a realistic baseline of expectations for returning to work. Thanks for your insights and responses!

My breast have always been about a half cup size different and felt further apart than normal. I have some breast tissue in my armpit on my smaller side so I just assumed that was why. My plan was always to have a child, breastfeed, and get a lift/implants. Over the past year I’ve gotten leaner than I’ve ever been and noticed an indent/curve in my sternum and ribs attachments. Pectus excavatum has been confirmed. Less worried about that, more worried about how itll impact implants. Ive heard the implant can settle into the concave side or become lopsided ie cross eyed nipples. Are there any remedies that can prevent this? Would a mesh bra help?

Answer

To my amazement I had a poking suture after 16 years from a procedure when I was 29. Mini tummy tuck. The surgeon used blue permanent stitch. I had no idea. They advise me that they don’t use those anymore and that I could just snip it and let it heal. Should this not be removed from my body? Can it be done with local anesthetics?

Answer

TUCK, LIPO 360, BACK LIPO AND ARM LIFT at one procedure

Hi, I’m having a tummy tuck, BBL, and rib remodeling. I am traveling for the surgery to California. After how many weeks would you recommend traveling after the surgery to come back home to the Washington DC area? It’s a six hour flight.

Answer

I had a septoplasty along with a few rhinoplasty to correct deviation and address bump on bridge that got bigger due to an injury. This surgery was over 6 years ago. My tip of my nose is much rounder and swells more than it used to ever since the surgery. I went back in to surgeon 1x to adress but wasn’t healed enough. But 6yrs out it still bothers me and now I’ve moved and old surgeon is retired. I really don’t want revision surgery as I’ve heard that is complicated and I’ve known people who have gone through it and ended up worse off and I don’t want to mess my nose up more but I’m just not liking my rounder tip nose. Is there anything non surgical that is effective for reducing cartilage/rounder tip and controlling swelling?

Answer

Perhaps odd, but I've always noticed that my mouth looks too close to my nose and is positioned a bit higher than usual. Out of curiosity, are there procedures to lengthen the philtrum and increase the space between the nose and mouth for a more harmonious look? To my knowledge, the only viable thing would be a columella reduction.

Answer

I have a bulbous nasal tip that points downward quite noticeably when I smile. Because of this, my upper lip covers a significant portion of my upper front teeth, resulting in a relatively low smile line. I am planning to have a rhinoplasty and was wondering whether lifting the nasal tip during the procedure could also improve my smile, allowing more of my upper teeth, and ideally a small amount of gum, to show when I smile. I have noticed that when I lift my nasal tip upward with my fingers, my upper lip also lifts and significantly more of my teeth become visible. This makes me wonder whether the position of my nasal tip may be affecting my upper lip movement when I smile. Could this potentially be corrected as part of a rhinoplasty? If not, are there any other procedures or treatments that could be performed in addition to rhinoplasty to address this? I would preferably like to avoid a lip lift because I do not want a scar or to change the overall position of my mouth. The issue seems to be that the inner part of my upper lip covers my upper teeth when I smile (in the middle). I would really appreciate any advice from surgeons who have experience with this type of issue.

Hello, I am currently 167 pounds and 5’8 and 31. I have never had a butt. I am trying to get rid of my stubborn fat so I want to schedule a Lipo 360 and a BBL. However, I have a wide rib cage and not a lot of hips. Is it possible for me to have an hourglass figure.?

Answer

Two years later and I ve been experience pain in my hips and certain parts of my Butt. At first is was on one side and I also noticed that a huge dip on my hip/side butt had appeared last year by the time of my 1 year post op appointment. I've expressed that concern to the surgeon who at that time, advised me to get hip dip filler to correct the dip. I never got he filler because Im nervous about it migrating. However fast forward to now and the other side of my hop is also aching. I don't know what is going on. My surgeon also has stated he doesn't know. if anyone has any information about the please advise what is causing it to hurt after two years. I feel it more when I sit or lay on my butt/ sides.

I had a breast reduction over a year ago through insurance and about 400 grams was removed from each breast. I terribly miss the size and regret the reduction. If i get 425 cc implants will they be the same size as before? do grams of fat and cc of implants correlate in that way?

Answer

How long does it take to start to see your result? Next week I'm getting a neck lift and mini lower facelift. I know I'll be bruised and swollen afterward, and I know it will take months to see my true final result. That said, is there an approximate period of time post-op after which you can BEGIN to visualize your result--when you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel, results-wise? I want to know when I will start to see where things are headed. Thanks so much!

Answer

I photos to an oculoplastic surgeon as an evaluation form before a consultation, and I just got a message back that the doctor does not consider me a candidate for lower blepharoplasty. Based on my pictures does that seem right? It feels hard for me to believe because I feel like my under eyes are some of the worst I’ve ever seen for my age. I know there are probably other factors but I’m just so upset, I was so excited to have a solution to the main thing that’s bothered me my whole life

Answer

I’ve noticed my uneven eyelids for quite some time now and it’s bothering me and I’m curious what the fix for it is. To my understanding my options are upper eyelid filler and/or a blephorplasty, would there be anything else to fix the asymmetry?

I am thinking of getting lipo done to my flanks and abdomen, but I am unsure if I have enough fat on my flanks and love handle area. Can any surgeons clarify? Also, does my waist area count as flanks and do I have enough fat to remove from there? I am 105lbs and 158cm (5’2) tall. So my bmi is 19. I am also 20 years old.
