Index finger skin swollen. (photos)

My left-hand index finger skin seems swollen but its been like this for months. It doesn't hurt and the area is smooth. I'm not sure if its getting bigger but it does annoy me. Does anyone have any ideas? A friend stated it might keloid but I'm not too sure about that.

Treatment of scar tissue on the finger

There are some non inflammatory scarring problems with skin on joints. I would suggest Plato's Scar Serum and a consultation with a surgeon.

Possible Keloid Scar -- Lasers, Microneedling/PRP, Subcision, Fillers, Dermaflage/ScarMD, tatooing

It's hard to tell from your photos, but if it is a keloid scar, it can improve with combination treatment that includes laser and micro needling. Please see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
