I went to Istanbul turkey to get a rhinoplasty 2 years ago would be 2/28 my nose still looks uneven my eyes are very unbalanced to me. From the side my nose don’t look bad but from the front is where all hell breaks loose smh
Answer: In most people swelling is completely resolved 2 years after rhinoplasty. If your nasal appearance is the same in the morning as at the end of the day, that is indicative that all of your swelling from surgery is gone. I know you're unhappy with the appearance of your nose, however, you appear to have a pleasing nasal appearance. Please consider re-asking your question with before and after photos for a more definitive answer about the front view of your nose. Thank you. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: NO- I Recommend Revision Rhinoplasty | Facial Plastic Surgery Expert | Ethnic Nosejob | Uneven Asymmetric Crooked Nose | LA BH Hello and thank you for your question and pictures. Typically the swelling should be fully resolved after 2 years, so if you are still unhappy with the appearance of your nose, you would need a revision rhinoplasty to properly correct your issue and to solidly reinforce the entire underlying framework to assure you get the BEST long term results (to prevent distortion and retraction from scarring forces over time). Anyone who tells you otherwise is doing you a HUGE disservice! Revision rhinoplasty is truly a surgery of millimeters- they are the most technically challenging procedures in all of plastic surgery! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading revision rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). If you are unhappy with the appearance of your nose, I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with revision rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Swelling 2 years after rhinoplasty Generally I tell primary (first-time) rhinoplasty patients that swelling after surgery can persist up to 1 year. For revision rhinoplasty patients, or patients with thicker skin, swelling can persist for up to 2+ years. That said, generally it's a small percentage of overall swelling that persists that long (perhaps 15% or less). I would be surprised if what you are seeing is swelling at this point. Would reach out to your surgeon to see what they think regarding the above photos and the average swelling timeline in their practice. Hope this is helpful!

Answer: Am I still swollen? I had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago (Photo) Hello E, The swelling after rhinoplasty is all gone by 2 years, usually by 6 to 12 months. One of the problems with having procedures away from home is that it is difficult to follow up with your surgeon. If you are not happy with the appearance of your nose, you may consider a revision rhinoplasty with an expert surgeon. I would recommend Ari Hyman MD (Encino, CA) or Dean Toriumi Md (Chicago IL). Good luck and be well. Michael Persky, MD

Answer: Rhinoplasty It appears that you nose and nostrils could be narrowed further. Also I would raise the tip. It’s worth getting some second opinions.
