Hello, I have moderate facial volume loss due to weight loss and I do not want to keep using syntheyic fillers. Is micro fat grafting reliable? I was told its 50/50 as far as if the fat will survive. I was interested in AlloClae but was told its more expensive than fat grafting and that its not for the face. Is micro fat grafting a waste of money or does most of whats injected stay? Is AlloClae not an option then?
I am 36 years old and noticing some drooping in my lower face. I would like a lip lift but I also wonder if buccal fat and fat transfer would improve the aesthetics of my face? Overwhelmed by options and not sure what would be best as many doctors are giving different opinions
i am a 45 year old female who has been through a stressful time and i feel like it has aged me significantly. my skin tone looks very uneven with lots of broken blood vessels in my face. is a face lift with fat transfer the best way to address sagging lower face and also the volume loss. would adding a co2 laser help with the fine lines? please advise.
I had a deep plane face and neck lift with some fat grafting in the cheek area. I lost quite a bit of weight, which caused me to have very loose sagging skin, with a somewhat gaunt look, and hollow under eyes. When i was younger i had a very balanced and nice shape of face. Im worried that adding even a small amount of fat just to my cheek will change the contours and shape of my face, what reasons would fat be added just to the upper face? Can this still look natural? Thanks
I have used fillers in the past under my eyes and Im very discouraged because I got the Tyndall effect in the past. I already know that having an experienced injector is key but this was a board certified plastic surgeon who performed it so I thought I was safe. Nevertheless, I will never have it done again. I want to know if there is a possibility of the tyndall effect under eyes with fat injections/transfer. Thank you.
So the verdict is out that fillers are not the way to go because your body doesn't really absorb them, they just migrate to other parts of the face. What about with fillers using your own body fat and platelet rich plasma . I've heard that using these two together strengths and increase the amount of fat that survives, but does fat migrate does PRP migrate . It is from your own body so why would it . What is the 5-10 year appearance underneath it all for these procedures?
I used to have filler in my chin (about 4 ml) but it caused constant inflammation so i had to remove it. Will i be able to do fat grafting to the chin and be able to recieve somewhat similar results? i am fine with it looking softer, but i was wondering if u can actually shape the chin with fat grafting to make it a slight bit v shaped and add a little more projection.
Hi I had a facelift done didnt realised my doctor would perform facial fat graft after.. he over corrected that I ended up having puffy cheeks mid and lower cheeks. I use to have v shaped face now I have square face. At one stage it looked better because I lost a lot of weight due to sickness. Now that I have recovered and went back to my usual weight my face gone puffy and no definition anymore can I get it minimised. I have facial asymmetry as right side of my face is smaller than the left . a symmetry. I love my left side as it is perfect, I had to lift my naso labial and had permanent filler of only 2ml. Just needed my right to have a lift to meet the left. And just have a really mini for the left. But instead I have 2 puffy heavy cheeks. Is there a way I can remove or minimise this fat graft? Thanks
